I love this reveal because it feels like the sort of random thing ZUN would throw into an EoSD-era character profile, like Remi being a messy eater or Patchouli's ribbons being charms that boost her magical power. We don't get those as often in modern 2hu because ZUN puts half the game's plot in a character's profile and leaves little for the character themselves
