>>50574920It's been a long time time since I played those games so I remember all the details but the games are all pretty much at least decent.There are no hard continuity just some recurring characters so you can pretty much play whatever you want without worrying..The ds games are a compilation of 5 short mobiles stories plus a longer ds exuclusive story at the end, the quality of those stories range from decent to great.いにしえの記憶 is the least good of the ds one mainly because four of the five story being remake of the famicon games and the sprites having a shitty resolution due to being for small mobile screen. Starting with いにしえの記憶 seems like a good idea.The remake of the first one has a suspects and culprit, and I found it better than the og. The og is mediocre but short if I remember correct so you can check it if you are curious..I don't really remember neither the og of the seconde one but I think that the remake has a different story they are pretty short you can check both.For the third the remake is pretty much the same story but remove some details to make the story least convoluted but I think that it make the story lost some of its charms so I prefer the og.Didn't play the remake of the fourth, but the famicom one was pretty good. The fifth one is not a remake and is pretty good.The ds exclusive one is kinda meh but is short if I remember correctly.You can also check the ps ones they are longer stories an have better production values. The first one 探偵 神宮寺三郎 未完のルポ is the worst of the bunch the theme is pretty decent but the execution is failed,it had a system where you chose the point of view of one of the three playable characters like Eve for a chapter but you can't go back replay the chapter with another character so you must abuse savestate in order to see the story.The second is great it have a cool dark atmosphere an the story is good,the multiple point of view is back but you have a chapter selection so no need to abuse savestates but some pov are too redundant especially Jinguuji and his assistant Youko.探偵 神宮寺三郎 灯火が消えぬ間に is also great the atmosphere is rather comfy in this one, no multiple pov it is a free roaming with a lax time limit if I remember correctly.The switch one is a compilation of the short story from the mobile games plus three exclusive short stories, didn't play the remakes of the mobiles ones but the new stories where good. I didn't play any other games so I can't give any opinion one them.
