I cobbled together a frontline but the ailment and element synergy is non-existent. Wave 1 took at least 2 turns to clear. C5 Koishi did some heavy lifting. Her All SC shield broke the shields of Wave 2, Gauge 1. From there I dumped Marisa's LW and used Yukari's LW to feed Yang ATK II to Koishi. Dumped Koishi's and Yukari's LW (again) next turn intending to swap in everybody next turn but Koishi finished everyone off. Got dinged a turn over the limit because of my crappy wave 1. The last time I spend any money on the game was when the jap version released SFES Meiling because after that point Google changed how their playstore handles payments and I could not buy anything anymore without either having a japanese bank account or using basically a completely japanese google account that would have to buy japanese playstore cards. So I just stopped spending money, even on the monthly Nitroi service. This was years ago at this point. I can still clear everything in the game and I have a lot of good characters. I just can't roll for everyone and have to wait between big rolls.
Upcoming update for jap will add more filters for story cards and some general quality of life stuff like this.
