Personally I think 13 inches is really too small for a screen and 16 is the minimum but your mileage may vary. Maybe get it from somewhere with easy returns so you can figure out if you like it or not without committing.

I have tried drawing with finger on my phone, but it's super hard to predict, the centre of the line is always slightly off from where I'd expect it to be. Also the fact that the finger covers part of the picture doesn't help much either.

I can't really draw on paper at all. I have some fine motor problems so I really need to be able to redo the same line a hundred times without worrying about destroying the paper. I'm sure that's also a skill issue on my part. Anyway, digital is super weird at first but it doesn't take long to get used to it. If you're using a drawing tablet on PC, try messing around with the screen mapping settings. Digital drawing is also about getting good at using your software of choice. The workflow is much smoother once you have some basic shortcuts memorized.

I feel pretty confident right now regarding the difficulty curve of the game. I recently added a more dynamic hint system. Easy mode gives you hints that would help even a secondary. Normal and hard pull from a random pool of more vague hints related to physical appearance or lore, and lunatic and up expect you to have primary level knowledge of which Touhous appear in which games.

If there's anything that sort of concerns me, it's that so much of the game is actually unlocked after lunatic in the form of harder and harder difficulties. I'm worried that some people will just play normal and think that's all the game has to offer or something. But if you're looking for a challenge then yes, I promise you'll find it difficult at some point.

Yes, the Suku will grow fluffier and fluffier to obscure more of the screen.

I am planning on releasing two versions of the game. One has everything and is marketed as Keine's Expanding Class, but you can switch to the Sukusuku teacher. The other is meant to be SFW and will have the Keine teacher removed (As well as alternate art for anything that would involve big breasts). This is for people who don't want any sort of NSFW in the game or having it in their library. Yes, I've gotten comments/arguments regarding the ability to hide it in your profile several times.

This means that the Suku version will technically have less content. I was planning on making it cheaper to compensate. At least I feel like that's the most fair.

I know it sounds a little silly considering I'm using a Sukusuku to begin with, but I'm sticking with pure Touhou canon material for the questions.

I'd honestly be very surprised. I personally think that the Keine version will greatly outsell the Sukusuku version.
I don't know exactly how Touhou fans will split between the two games, but I suspect that there will be a notable audience of non-Touhou fans who will overwhelmingly pick the Keine version.

That said I will still do my best to make the Sukusuku version fun to play as well. Although I think the Keine version will perform better, the Sukusuku version has always been a personal goal of mine and I don't care if it sells a minuscule fraction of the copies as long as I can put out a cute sukusuku game. It was something I wanted to have since the beginning.

I love it! It's definitely challenging as you said, though there probably shouldn't be any repeat words in a single day to make it slightly harder. Also Keine-sensei should give an angry/random expression every time you touch her. The suku is very cute I love her.

Joke Mode is amazing and I must've spent half an hour finding all the words. Had some good laughs but that mode saved over my best times on Lunatic, maybe don't let it do that for the difficulties. Two things I noticed, you can bother Keine for hints in the game over screen, and it looks like the first N in the word Rensenware is missing.

Getting hints doesn't seem to work properly on flat mode. Clicking Keine will give a hint with no reaction from her, and the suku teacher cannot be clicked at all for hints.
Speaking of said mechanic, I think it could be fun to make the amount of times you can click her limited with her getting increasingly mad with each click.
Overall I really enjoyed it, even more than I thought I was going to. If you feel like it, please draw Yuyuko

If Keine doesn't give you hints if you click on her chest, that's actually me messing up the hint syntax in some way. If you find a specific word where she doesn't give you a hint, let me know. Also all the locked content as you mentioned isn't accessible in the demo, but maybe I should make it more obvious. I want to sort of tease that it exists in the full version but I should make it clear it's not in the demo. I'll draw your Seiga first!

Now you are just messing with me. I know about SWR integration but she is absolutely not in Soku standalone either in story or arcade mode.
The music does feel like ripped straight out of the games at least some tracks do, so please look into it.

Thank you anon. This sort of very specific stuff is definitely worth talking about. The hints are something that I would like feedback on. There is sort of an awkward sweetspot between being vague to being helpful that I'm trying to hit. For example with Doremy and Hecatia I admit I'm being a bit obtuse on purpose since it's a hard mode hint. The idea is that the hint shouldn't be good enough to give you the character's name on its own, but you need to combine that with the game + the number of letters on the board to fully figure it out. (And you can always fall back on guessing some letters to see if they work)

Ok yeah that's my bad. I actually realized I should avoid that sort of hint for the exact reason you said, but I guess I accidentally left that one in.

Now this one I'm definitely not sure about. You're right in that Youmu doesn't appear in the base game, but at the same time it feels wrong to not include her. If I asked someone from the 12.3 playerbase if Youmu was in the game, everyone would certainly say yes. It's also worth noting that Youmu isn't just directly ported over from SWR with no changes, but there's a lot of Soku specific content/changes for Youmu that only exist within Soku too, so despite not being selectable she essentially exists within the game's code itself.

Game seems pretty good so far. I only have a few minor suggestions and bugs to note.
I think the pause screen could be a bit more informative. Mode difficulty, current game run time, maybe even the selected words pools that the current game can pull from would all be helpful.
Not sure if there is a great way to implement it, but some sort of indication of which word pools were used to complete a day on the day select screens would be nice to be able to see. Maybe just putting like a yin yang icon in the corner of each day to show that you used all touhou word options would be cool.
The total round time still increments even when on the pause screen, not sure if intended.
Fossilized Wonders is available under advanced word selection but not listed under the simple settings selection (13-19) nor does it toggle on or off when that option is selected.
Similar issue for Hopeless Masquerade, it's listed under the later spinoff titles on the simple options, but it's included with the early spinoffs in the advanced menu, and yet it toggles according to the later spinoffs on the simple options.
Touhou 11 is missing a space on the advanced options (Touhou11).
The full screen/borderless options don't seem to quite toggle properly though perhaps it's just an issue on my end.
Clicking delete data, backing out of the options menu, then clicking back into options will still show the "Are you sure?" prompt.
The intro cutscene shows on every game launch, not sure if intended.
When using the arrow keys to pull up the pencil to navigate the menu buttons, navigating to the help screen and clicking next on all the tips will get the pencil stuck and unable to select any other options on the last screen because the next button disappears.
Extremely minor nitpick but the options screen has checkmark boxes next to the options and word selection titles at the top despite not being interactable. Could be slightly non-ideal for UI reasons (read: I'm retarded and tried clicking them).

If you're still accepting requests, I'd like a Yuuma scribble please. I hope the game does well.

This is not a bad idea, I could add that! However I will spoil that one of the later unlockable difficulties forces all the Touhou categories on, so beating that difficulty will act as your proof that you're a real one.

This one is intentional, because I don't want people to cheat in faster times by pausing while they think of the answer (Or even just search it up on the wiki). My stance on preventing cheating is pretty lax since I can't actually stop someone from winning by just googling all the answers, but I think this is a good compromise and the bare minimum I can do.

It's a really hard choice for me... between IN, MoF, and UM, I'm having a hard time letting go of certain characters from all those games. I could probably narrow it down to IN and MoF but it would hurt not being able to draw Chimata and Tsukasa anymore. At that point I guess it's a coin toss.

Thank you for your patience anons. I have pushed a new patch that fixes a bunch of the issues that were reported and added some changes people wanted. I still haven't gotten everything (Like some of the more detailed new features that were requested) but I will get to those soon!

I see, that makes sense given the time based achievements for the full version.

Been doing a bit of stress testing for each of the mainline games individually and have a bit more feedback.
Felt a little odd for the questions to be switching between asking for full names and just first names. I suppose it's for gameplay diversity. Maybe a settings toggle between first only or both could be nice? Or leave it as it is for the balance, this one is more of just personal preference than a game breaker.
Think someone else mentioned it, but detection to not repeat characters each round might be nice. With all word pools on it probably never happens, but when only 1 is selected then you get a lot of questions that ask for the same character. Possibly because of the name discrepancies, first name only is treated as a different character as first and last? Also low importance I would say.
I think the character inclusions for each game have a few confusing edge cases sometimes. Including all playable characters makes sense. Including partners like for IN or SA make you think for a bit but those are good difficulty. Including characters that only show up in the game endings or spellcards I think might be a bit unfair. Specifically, seeing like Eirin and Kaguya as options in LoLK, Patchy in UM and Chen in UDoALG gave me pause. Technically yes it's correct to say they are in those games but personally I think that those cases could push unfair or misleading. Up to you.
There were a few inaccuracies in the tips presented for PC-98 characters because of the inconsistencies in their designs. Reimu's hint still said black hair, Marisa's hint for SoEW still said blonde hair, Yuuka's said red eyes, Mima's for MS said ghostly tail. Hard to say what should be done because the hints are all accurate for their normal Window's appearances where they're more recognizable as such, but still technically not necessarily accurate when the prompt is applied for the PC-98 games.
Yukari has a hint that labels her as the boss of the phantasm stage, which isn't inaccurate but doesn't make much sense showing up as a hint for SA or LoLK.
I think one of Cirno's hints is bugged, twice I got it where no hint was given for her despite playing on a game mode with hints.
All characters for PoFV might also be bugged to only give their first names for the questions. Maybe I got very unlucky, but it was strange not seeing it ask for full names for that one scenario specifically.
I'm fairly confident that for WBaWC, Idolatrize World is not the Stage 3 theme. Might wanna double check that one.
Letty's dress color was listed as purple, and yeah I get it but I always saw it as more as a blue edging purple, but someone like Yukari is more pure purple. Subjective.
The FW category goes further than just not toggling properly, when disabling everything except FW the game goes into joke mode like FW was turned off too.

Thank you anon, I appreciate the feedback, it's very helpful. Trying to figure out good hints is tricky but getting his feedback helps me narrow things down. There were cases where I skipped over hints because they would be inaccurate in certain games but stuff like PC-98 designs are things I need to consider. I'll try to refine the hints better for the next patch.
Also yes Cirno's hint section had an extra quotation mark so the game didn't know how to read it and skipped over it. Whoops!

As for things like repeating names it is pretty tricky since I gave the player a lot of control over what words show up. Right now what I've done is I've made characters show up a lot more often than other categories (Ex. Locations or music) because characters tend to be the most fun to guess, but if someone has a very small word pool, then maybe I should make them appear more often to reduce repetition. I do actually have code to reduce repetition (The same word shouldn't appear twice within 10 words) but it doesn't discern between first name and first name + last name, and it doesn't carry over between games.
Also whoh Idolatrize World's hint got mixed up bad, definitely a goof on my side. Thanks for pointing out the error.
