I'm trying to get a translation plugin working with MonMosuTD but it's not working, any suggestions? Also, does MTD use any sort of Anticheat like ACE or something?

So far I've tried the ILL2CPP version of BepInEx and while it DOES translate, it ends up getting cut off like in the provided picture. The text shows up just fine in the log though.
Another thing I've noticed is that the keybinds do not work with my installation of BepInEx and I can't bring up either the menu or translation aggregator with the ALT+0 and ALT+1 keybinds. If I could summon the TranslationAggregator window properly then I would have no reason to inject the text in game and deal with the many text issues the game has since the translation could appear in the floating TA window instead but I've also had no luck with that.

Anyone knowledgeable in the ways of Text hooks that could provide me some help or assistance on the matter?

Started playing Monmosu TD due to Kumafes and it's been fun. I attempted shoving a translation patch into the game which sort of works but I swear that game does NOT like being translated because there's so many bugs, errors and problems when you attempt to do so.

So far the game seems fun but it's weird to go from games where exp and gold are basically free to one where both are super tight as fuck. Absolutely no clue what I'm doing since the only resource I could find was wikiru and strongly wish I had some busted unit or DP printer since those are always the backbone of teams in tower defense games but it's a fun game with cute girls and I've always liked tower defense games. Probably wouldn't have played it if the festival didn't incentivize me to play it but I'm happy I did.

Erolabs is Taiwan while Johren is Cyprus. Functionally, there's really not much difference, but Erolabs is probably the best out of all the English H-gacha publishers. Regarding English resources, it's mainly only the most ancient and grandfathered DMM games that have any presence on the English speaking internet at all. That and Twinkle which has the database site and MonmusuTD which is somehow the only DMM H-gacha with a living general on 4chan.

Legeclo has depreciated to the point not even the JP wiki is that well-kept anymore. If you're looking for unit opinions and what to roll for, your only real options are here or the English Fanza Discord community.

You might also consider actually playing some of the Chinese/English H-gacha. I play a few of them as they have uncensored animations.

I think all it really takes is one very motivated guy, really. If someone takes it upon themselves to build the base of English resources for that game then other people might take notice of it and either contribute or also play the game which is how a community forms.

The problem is, not every game has "that guy" because most people playing these games are either happy just MTLing the JP wiki or know Japanese/Chinese in the first place and can simply use the Japanese communities without caring about the English spaces. Lack of PC client in this day and age is also a demerit and contributes in making it feel old due to newer games having or launching with a PC client.
