No need to do their hair, make up, find a nice low cut top to wear, and clean up the immediate area behind them. They can just roll out of bed 10mins before stream and hop on because their 2D face is always ready. Merchandising becomes much easier too since you're a ready built mascot.

However, I don't have a problem with them on a conceptual level because the only streamers I like don't show their face anyway.
