We haven't seen the Brittanian posting the schedule in a long time.

>>50668423
>>50668422Never seen so many people there at once.
I couldn't figure out where exactly this was taken, but it's a nice shot regardless. From a JP photographer on flickr.
>>50670324>>50665967it's several of the local aizu railcats I believe
>>50669030Link the flickr account.

folks down at the far end of the station-side platform takin pictures of the first train of the morning

>>50668183This is really cute, I wonder what they do with all the old breads they just individually wrapped up at the end of the day?
>>50678270Off to a homeless shelter maybe?
oya? you're up early this year, aren't you?
>>50680628ah, it's just the engine, too
>>50678276Having watched this on and off for a day, it was quite an interesting little webcam. Behind the cute veneer is long work days, from 6:30am to 6:30pm, they also work on a Monday when most cafes close in my country if they are open during the weekend, and even though the cafe seems to officially close at around 5-5:30 it still takes ages for the staff to leave as they clean up with one girl alone spending over an hour just doing bureaucracy. This is the kind of slice-of-life stuff I am fascinated with and love watching.
>>50681328Do places with webcams have signs, so customers know they are on stream? I know Japan is usually big on privacy and blur out a lot of faces. A public space like a train station shouldn't be an issue, but a small store like this where you can identify every person close up. That's a surprise.
>>50681398Usually, yes.Yunokami has signs around the foot bath that there is a camera.
At that time, there were over 15 high schools in the Aizu-Wakamatsu area that students could commute to from here, and the platform must have been packed with students attending those schools. There were also likely people who used this line for their commute.
One afternoon, a train arrived from the Aizu-Tajima area. There were two high schools in the Aizu-Tajima area. At least eight high school students got off the train.
How about some more snow?
>>50687319Snow is forecast for tonight and tomorrow.
Both Yunoue Onsen and Ouchi-juku had seen a lot of snow start to melt, yet it's piling up again.
>>50687379>YunoueIt's Yunokami.
>>50688802Those gaijin-san in nanchatte seifuku
>>50678270Out of curiosity, I searched the address and it turns out they have an honesty stall to sell their old breads.
it's fuckin' cold this morning
they've been waiting on this platform since the 0730, most of them antsy from the cold lmao
>>50680646That's the scenic/tour train? Strange they don't do trips in the winter with all the snow scenery, station certainly seems busy enough for this time of year. Perhaps because the snow is too unpredictable?
>>50693321I'd bet the excursion car is pretty damn hard to keep warm with how much glass it has.

>>50695449Oh yeah I'm sure the passengers will appreciate the ambience of hot oily diesel lmao

>>50700218Holiday? I don't keep up on those things
Brit Bloke is back. Help me fill in the blanks and corrections for departure time.
>>50704127welcome backlooks correct on first glance
>>50704146(except this one lol)
>>50704127this one also was a bit off, but I think it had been at the station since your listed time

1667577919718973 is a 13‑digit Unix timestamp in milliseconds. The .jpg file was the original and not the date of posting in this case.Drop the last three digits to get seconds:1667577919718973 1667577919 seconds.Convert 1667577919 (Unix time, UTC) 2022‑11‑04 23:25:19 UTC.Clearly the Sakura blossoms were on 11 April 2022.
>>50705727>they'll be changing next month. Why? For tourism?
>>50712284It tends to just be minor alterations. In 2024 a northbound train arrived at 16:07, but then this was changed to 16:11 for 2025.https://web.archive.org/web/20240517175541/https://aizutetsudo.jp/wp/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/aizuwakamatsuhoumen2024-1.pdfhttps://web.archive.org/web/20240518221205/https://aizutetsudo.jp/wp/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/asakusahoumen2024-1.pdf
>>50697949You mean to tell me this is not an original Edo-era train station?! I am outraged!

nice steamy snow-coated morning
>>50725932It looks unreal... Also is that fire!?
So how does this work? Why are we getting bump locked?
>>50726886No... it's a lamp with a big shot of steam in front lol
>>50726895It's board-wide. They changed the jaypea a month or two ago now to bump-lock after the thread is 14 days old. It's not us in particular.
>>50725932Isn't it quite late to still be having snow? Surely the blossoms would be out soon?
>>50727503It's not that uncommon to get snow falls into late March.Cherry blossoms are more like the first or second week of April around here.
