He was just born a petty hater and remains one.The plot on his route makes no sense though, unless you presume Yori is actually very dumb. The reasoning for why he did the killings is so flimsy and doesn't match with how he's characterised otherwise. This is kind of true of his actions in Awayuki's route too in retrospect. The writer gives out a few motives but none of them land for me, they fit together awkwardly like they were thought of backwards because the writer wanted there to be an elaborate serial murder plot where Yori was the culprit, but one that wasn't too evil because otherwise there couldn't be a happy ending.They try and smooth over it by going on about how Yori is just an incomprehensible guy that Hinagiku will never understand, but I don't think the writer understood why Yori did all that either.
