It's not like the game has any real story or overarching plot either - each character belongs to their own respective universe and the focus is on the gameplay. It would have been more appealing to me if it was like an extended version of the shorts they did ages ago with each episode fleshing out the background of a different hero.Overall I'd say it was neat for existing players to see the characters animated but that's about it. It wasn't an interesting show by itself and it's not like you could play the game to get a continuation of the story if you actually did enjoy it.
