So no Rin kiss in UBW, I guess Nasu prefers taking it slow. 1 month after the grail war Shirou is still calling her Tohsaka and acting hetare. I think the writing philosophy here is to be cautious with giving readers what they want, for multiple reasons. Also helps understanding why Mahoyo is written like that or why Shirou is so weak for most of the story's duration when it's basically a chuunige.
