When we get a chapter like this, without even a cameo by Reimu or Marisa, it really reminds me of what I wish this manga had been. Episodic stuff with each mini-arc focusing on different characters and using Miyoi and Geidontei as a base for those characters to congregate.

That's what I was thinking. Miyoi had a cameo in CDS so Mizuchi in Lotus Eaters would be appropriate. But the spirit in Lotus Eaters has actual legs. It might be a regular ghost or a human possessed by a vengeful spirit like Kosuzu was.
