>>50873345Wow!Was waiting for this, pleasantly surprised by all the quality contributionsGJ /jp/!
i fucking hate weed but this was pretty cool!zines are fukken awesome, Internet should do more of them
>>50873345Yippie! Look mom I'm in a drug magazine
>>50873345Somehow I didn't expect this to actually get made, let alone have this much effort put into it.
>>50873345Good job
I seem to remember submitting a strawpage drawing of Marisa smoking weed while, in a, less-than-fully-clothed state, but I can’t find it in the zine. Did it not go through? Or was it perhaps purposefully excluded due to foreign anti-Japanese standards of modesty?
Nice content + my fanart was includedGladly waiting for next year's issue
>>50873345Woah, didn't expect you to pull through t.b.h.Hope there'll be another issue
>>50873345High (heh) effort OC. I always like seeing 'zines like this. Thanks anons. Weed may not be canon but at least shroom are
We did not expect the overwhelmingly good response to the zine! thank you all so much>>50873428A lot of effort was put in the layout to contrast with the unserious zine theme. We're very pleased with the result.>>50873639I'm gonna be real with you anon, I just thought you had forgotten to put clothes on her. Don-t worry though, the zine has been updated to include this key addition.
>>50875780Not joking btw, we did update the zine to correct typos and all
>>50873345I think I recognize most of the artstyles from /jp/'s OC threads. Not a lot seem to come from elsewhere. I think next time you would do well to build up more of a social media presence in the months leading up to the zine's release, primarily by retweeting (or whatever the equivalent is) art of Touhou artists who also like weed. Artists on other websites generally have a more professional mindset and seek to build publicity and presence (4chan's anonymous nature directly contradicts this goal which is why artists here are normally amateurs). Retweeting their art, as opposed to liking it, gives them more publicity making them think more highly of you and more likely to participate in the zine, and the further more noticeable interaction will bring more attention to the zine as well. Artists who have already established themselves professionally and take lots of commissions will have little interest in working for free, so you'll want to look for artists who have ambitions of doing commissions in the future and must build up their portfolio and skills beforehand.
