Almost nobody behaves like themselves, powers and abilities are ignored, and some characters don't even appear to possess their core characteristics. For example, "Sagume" in the series is just a normal person that talks normally. Mokou isn't immortal. Lunarians aren't Lunarian. And so on and so forth. It's basically an original story borrowing Touhou visuals and names for some reason.

I don't get it.It's not that much of a horror project outside of 1-2 stills, it's not a perfect 10/10 nor is it an affront to Koishi as a character or Touhou Project. It's just a weird fan-series that gets loose and cooky with canon. And is that not what doujin culture is all about? It also gave us the Koisneed design to possibly surpass the canon one.
