I never pay attention to spell card backgrounds but this one was way too noticeable, it looks cheap and takes me out of the game.The background for the Ariya fight is also one of the coolest things of the game, specially because ZUN uses it to showcase Ariya's ability mid fight, it really makes the fight feel special (too bad Ariya only has like 2 cool spell cards) But those 4 lines that appear after the fight just make the whole thing look ugly.Overall the best stages are the ones with 3D stuff on the background (no idea if the AI did that) and whenever the AI is too noticeable the game looks like a bad fangame
