Can someone tell me why UTAU users are shilling Reaper constantly as a DAW in half the places I look? Maybe it's that I've been using FL Studio for 8 years but even if they're just using Reaper to mix it's an objectively dogshit program not worth anything more than being free. If they're not even giving you the bare minimum VSTs why the fuck would you pay for it? I know FL is overpriced as fuck too but at least in that case I get it due to the free lifetime updates and cracked versions getting harder and harder to come by. Plus it has really damn good plugins for vocal synth mixing. So cover artists and producers can actually get something out of it. I've heard Logic is really good too, but Logic is almost exclusively the GHOST clone DAW at this point.
