in light of yet another day on the western vocaloid scene being one of the most miserable creatures on the planet ever, i decided to retune and publish my second-ever kaai yuki cover. this song is about lemon juice, if you know what i mean :)

i am still in the works of producing original music, so i swear i'm not just intentionally attracting worms from the vocaloid scene (even though this cover was initially made with that intention...)

this is bullshit, how are you supposed to make clicks on vocaloid stuff. i see shit constantly going viral but whatever i do i cant get past 100 clicks for long term or 10k for short term videos i get good engagement comments sayings its peak and likes doesnt matter if songs or memes wtf is this

this shit is crazy to me because what if vocacolle banned sasuke haraguchi because igaku has a phone show up in the MV(referencing hito mania), or namigroove got banned because zunda party knight used kirby sound effects. this is such a goofy way to moderate their competition and would probably kill the event if the prize wasn't a jackpot moment for small producers(getting your song in project sekai)

Vocacolle has 5k+ entries. The shit going viral is the literal 0.1%. In most things, it's 0.001%, but in actual content that requires creative effort, it's less competitive. next event, if you put up a twitter post with the patrol tag, the 巡回 one (would be #ボカコレ2026夏巡回 for this event, but don't bother, too late), then random producers will reply to your with their songs. you'll start to see the long tail, and frankly.. a lot of it isn't very good. not that I blame them, I have no idea how to write a song. :)
