Shit no. The White-NotWhite dichotomy is an invention of the Europeans and their American descendants. The Jews were historically considered NotWhite and only became White in American eyes when convenient.

Germans literally organized their air force around the creation of aces. In every squadron, there was one pilot everyone else supported. They flew to funnel kills to their designated ace. Also, no one else really dealt with the full force of American strategic bombing. Japan absolutely did, but by the time America was bombing the mainland, they essentially had no air force left. Also, the German obsession with aces backfired as well. If that one hyper-competent pilot got shot down or killed, no one else was really able to fill his position.

Do you guys think actual dogfighting will ever come back? What technology/weapon developments would be necessary for this to happen?

You're insisting on detection but it's sufficient to prevent targeting or hitting.
If your countermeasures, whatever they are, prevent you being acquired, tracked or hit then shooting you in the face is about the only way to engage you before you complete your mission.
If both sides do this, dogfights are the only way to get through to your target or stop them from getting through to theirs.

Bigger problem in laser dogfighting would be blinding. With normal cockpit canopies it will be permanent blinding of the pilot. The canopy could be made to darken or filter the laser but the pilot will still be blind in that direction and a powerful enough laser will still damage it. Next step would be to ditch the canopy and go with cameras with automatic shutters all over the airframe so blinding one doesn't leave the pilot or drone system completely blind in the attacker's direction.
>>
>>64755276
Unfortunately, if this camera array is able to track a target (or at least the direct of the dazzler) well enough to provide a usable firing solution for guns, then it is also good enough to guide a missile, which means we're back at over-the-shoulder missile instakills instead of circle turn fights.

There's no margin where a human can see something but a sensor can't guide a missile into that something. Even if fighters end up lobbing massive armoured missiles at each other from 5km away because stealth, hardkill and softkill are so completely dominant that you literally cannot acquire an aircraft beyond that distance or engage it without having your missile hardkilled/softkilled, that still leaves guns as a tertiary weapon at best because missiles end up performing like guns except they can be launched in every direction and have a far less limited payload or velocity.

>>64755334
True and if true enough we could see Macross style micromissile spam become viable if there's no point in carrying bvr missiles.

The ziggers have come up with another brilliant plan to counter drones, walking tents! Guessing mostly for night ops to reduce thermal signature? Because these are definitely not good for day time at least. Though it'd be hilarious to see them try assaulting with these fucking things on. What will the ziggers dream up next to deal with thermal cams?

Why aren't ballistic submarines the backbone of world navies? Why haven't surface ships been relegated to carrier protection and amphibious operations? Why not make SLBMs out of RIM-66s and Standard missiles and Tomahawks and ASROCs? If you want force projection why wouldn't the ambiguity of the presence of submarines be enough to scare your enemies?

I can’t believe it took a 30 minute video to say what we already knew, which is that 10mm Auto is the superior automatic handgun cartridge, and that only after having to water it and then .40 S&W down for the women, manlets, and fags in the FBI did they just settle on 9mm because there was no difference at that point. Amazing.
>But muh fire rate!
Literally doesn’t matter in a combat scenario, doubly so if your shots don’t actually land. Paul Harrell already established this in his 1986 Miami Dade shootout analysis.

Lift weights and carry 10mm, anons.

What is it with manufacturerfags blatantly lying about their hot new cartridge being "JUSTASGUD" as another bigger and quite clearly more energetic cartridge of same or similar caliber?

>10mm auto, it's JUSTASGUD as .357 magnum!
Kinda close but still slightly short, I'll grant that it's a wider boolet and just will make a wider hole tho. The JUSTASGUD aspect also wasn't pushed in marketing, just something I see people say.

The GCAP project HQ is based in the UK for a reason.
>>
>>64751643
Yeah, geography.

Also the first head of that headquarters is Japanese.
>>
>>64751643
Anon, the headquarters needed to be somewhere, with the UK having a bigger role than Italy, it makes sense for the UK to get the headquarters, they're physically close to Italy, and the headquarters was never going to be in Japan because then 2 of the 3 nations would be nowhere near it.
Also, even though it's located in the UK the actual headquarters itself is officially not on UK soil. The headquarters is kinda like an embassy or the UN, the UK officially has no legal authority on the land and they'd need to ask permission from the Japanese Chief Executive, Masami Oka if they wanted to enter the premises. The high level GIGO employees are essentially given diplomatic immunity, and despite living and working in the UK will pay no UK taxes.

the point is that the admin gets to ask you invasive questions about your loyalty.
>“An F.B.I. employee’s loyalty is to the Constitution, not to the director or deputy director,” said James Davidson, a former agent who spent 23 years in the bureau. “It says everything about Patel’s weak constitution that this is even on his radar.”
>Although the courts do not typically consider polygraphs admissible, national security agencies widely use them in investigations and background checks for security clearances, among other matters.
