The Chinese military claims that they have the technology to shield missiles and drones with plasma shields. If true, this has big implications. Hypersonic missiles shielded with plasma up against American missile defense systems.
Given the nature of its technology, it may be possible to shield aircraft, vehicles, and personnel with such plasma shields.
The Chinese no doubt have recovered this advanced technology from classified and compartmentalized U.S. military information systems, as they have unrolled the technology from midair.
The first step to plasma weaponry, on the other hand, will be to encase a bullet in a layer of superheated plasma. Such a projectile will be able to be fired from any firearm. The warfighter will just need to load the high tech ammunition into his magazines, then he will be all set and good to go. Each bullet will need its own internal power source, which would be turned on the moment the warrior pulls the trigger.
The next step in plasma weaponry will be true plasma weapons that shoots full on plasma.
Tanks upgraded with plasma shield kits, aircraft upgraded with plasma shields, vehicles equipped with plasma shields, and bullets encased in superheated plasma.

>Chinese military claims
So is this a bot thread or an actual bugman spamming his script.
>>
>>64186128
Don’t know but I like these future ideas though

Define what you think "plasma" is and what that means from a military point of view.
Do so without using an ai or google searching.
>>
my dick, shielded in plasma, balls deep inside a chinese girl
>>

There's no chinese girls, they've all been aborted bro. Whatever you've been plowing is very gay bro.

>AI generated slop
>Chang rambling about plasma technology when they can't even figure out how to get more than 20kW out of their shitty WS engines without the whole thing melting down
Can you at least try to make it sound like you know what you're talking about
>>
>>64186123
so how does this plasma shield work?
is the plan to just coat your drone in a boiling layer of ionised gas and hope it doesn't melt or is there more to it?
>>
>>64186134
Stay away from my Chinese wife
>>
If such a thing existed, they would not keep it secret, but would immediately begin practical application of nuclear fusion power generation.
>>
>>64186148
Can we even confirm that they can make these engines by themselves and aren't just buying russian components and then slapping chang hieroglyphs on them?
>>
>>64186346
They aren't billowing smoke like the puccian engines so they at least made something different
>>
I hope Americans fall for it and actually develop the same thing to match what the chinks are claiming to have and utterly mog them just like they did with the commies
>>
>>64186123
IMPLESSIVE!
>>
>>64186123
>The Chinese military claims
About the only thing less credible is "Russia claims".
>>
>>64186123
>plasma shields
So, basically, it's on fire, and the enemy doesn't bother shooting at it?
>>
>>64186751
The Chinese are the Commies. Except they're 2 times more evil than the Soviets.
>>
>>64186123
>not quantum plasma shield technology
NOT VERRY IMPLESSIVE
>>
Soviets already did research a lot of this. Both for stealth and reduction of air resistance. As can be seen nothing field-able came out of it with their planes being targeted and engaged as soon as they cross the radar horizon.

This propaganda serves to embarrass the CCP and generate social consensus for the necessity of US and UK thought leadership.
>>
>>64186140
You can still find them in the places where all the ones with brains fled to once they saw the commutumor start to metastisize.
>>
Yes shielding is theoretically possible but it would only be practical in massive spaceships and not to shield againt weapons but against particles while traveling at near relativistic speeds
I dont think you can use them on earth because power generation and in space its only for travel because stopping a grain of dust going at a gazillion miles per hour is more doable than a railgun slug made of tungsten the size of a car travelling at the same speed

Ace Combat 7 was not supposed to be an instruction manual.

You can find them, they are desperate to leave China.
t. sister in law is Chinese and married my dickhead brother simply because it meant she didn't have to go back to China

The CCP is perfectly capable of embarrassing itself.

How would a plasma shield actually stop a projectile? Move your finger quickly through the flame of a candle. It doesn't even burn you. And there's certainly no mechanical resistance. Now imagine your finger is made of something much harder to melt traveling at much higher speeds. This is pointless... at best you've managed to singe the surface but even that seems absurd.

The only use case that comes to mind would be if a plasma screen is able to divert the energy from a directed energy weapon ie; laser defense/microwave defense, but I don't actually know if it would even do anything to stop it. I know extremely strong lasers can be stopped by something as simple as soot from burning plastic, but I don't think you can rely on that for anything that's moving at any real velocity because any smoke is going to be dragged off the fuselage as soon as it's created anyways.
The only kind of "energy shield" that might work would be some kind of Frankenstein's Lab massive tesla coil mounted to the missile that can shock incoming munitions far enough away that the explosion won't just destroy the missile anyway, and obviously that isn't practical because 75% of your missile's mass is going to be this big, unaerodynamic, retarded brick that may not even do anything. Or maybe a laser defense system for the missile itself, which while a lot more practical is still going to be taking up a significant amount of your total mass.

>plasma shield
>radiates in the entire spectrum, loudly
HARM bait.
>>
>>64186123
This is just some guy not understanding what plasma actually is, all he is referring to is the plasma that surrounds an object as it travels at extremely high speeds due to the air being superheated around it. It isn't a sci-fi energy shield nor does it prevent interception.

This is just noise to distract from the real innovation happening in china. I heard they almost have a full batallion of operational military special forces chlankers. These gear chuckers are equipped with the latest hyper tumbling organ rotating rounds that are so impossible to stitch up that they got banned in 2050. Its pretty crazy what they have now and I think the chinese are actually very strong now.

If the chinks do a smoke and mirror show, you bet the US will develop plasma shields. Worked so well for the soviets with the F15, didn't it? :D
>>
>>64189089
The idea of ionizing gasses and creating pseudo solid energy walls that stop projectiles isn't new. It was mostly an engineering and energy demand problem. Usually no one bothered to fund research, because you'd waste billions to watch a few engineers and some physiscists try to make cool machine that wastes energy and does something for nanoseconds.

Didn't happen. There are no humans in China, they're not capable of human innovation. Simple as.

They are very good at innovating new and interesting methods of coping and seething on the internet, anon.
