>>64187770I wish they'd bring back the 90s style PC Carbine. The Ruger POLICE Carbine is what it was called. It had Mini-14 style scope mounts on top. This stock is weirdly one I'm not familiar with; usually it's a more plain grey-black polymer stock. Choate made (makes?) a Marlin camp carbine folding stock that would be really slick on one of these (if they didn't just make one for the Police Carbine as well). A local place had one used (for quite a bit more than I'd pay) and it pretty much gets rid of all my complaints about the modern Ruger PC Carbine. I don't want fucking takedown for one, why are all the models TD? Two, the PC carbine is ugly as shit and I don't need a fucking AR-style freefloat handguard, just give me a normal stock. Turns out I want a 90s Police Carbine. The Ruger-style ring mounts are a little bit of a pain in today's world where pic is pretty much the only thing anyone uses but that can be worked around just fine.
