ANON! IN MY OFFICE NOW!Just got off the phone with the mayor and the fire department, you missed the perp and hit a gas station, igniting it and blowing up an indian family's credit card skimmer. The fire truck still smells like curry.Reshoot the pistol qual before the end of this month (september) or your gun and your badge on my desk. And your other gun. >>64193190I need to reshoot, got bumped off the podium fast!
hg-qual-9-25Well I think I’d consider it a scrape by pass with 38 through my Blackhawk. With the caveat that the only range I have while we’re firebanned maxes out at 50 feet. So I knocked my score on stage1 down.
>>64193219Did not qualify with 357 :(
>>64193223Embarrassingly bad with 45 lc in my Alaskan, even with slow fire. Stage 1 at too short of range, pretty sure I’d have had 1 on target total…
>>64193219based single action shooterduring the rapid fire stage, do you cock it with your opposite hand, or your thumb?
>>64193219>>64193223I’m laughing imagining you jerking back that hammer back frantically to make the time limit. +10 points for cool factor
>>64193240Stage 2 and 3 for 45lc in my Alaskan. Not a qualify, but honestly for 45 feet shooting it double action I’m pretty happy.
>>64193179is that 10 yard or 25?
>>64193259Two stages are 15, one stage is 25.
>>64193262IDK if my local gun club got 15 but i gonna try, looks fun
>>64193190forced engagement
>>64193278There’s probably a way to use a larger target at 25 that is equivalent
>>641932782/3 the range so the target for the slow fire section needs to be 1/3 smaller or we change how it's scored
>>64193250Offhand thumb. Got used to overlapping my thumbs with 454 casull to help keep a tighter grip. It’s actually pretty natural feeling.
>>64193295What’s the second slide’s sight config called?
>>64193257For fun I did try 5 shots of 454 at 45 feet in 15 seconds and did surprisingly well. However with the range fairly full, and me not having 30 rounds of the same 454 casull loads I don’t think it’s worth trying all the stages with it.
>>64193278I have it a shot with my revolvers. Wish I could try it with my 500, but with the outdoors firebanned the indoor ranges are busy and as much as I like loud kabooms I’m only gonna subject my neighboring lanes to so much….
>>64193302Detonic's Combat Master style I guess, the rumor is that it's because the inventor had huge thumbs and wanted to carry hammer down but with a tiny bobbed hammer, so he needed to cut away the slide Or the cut was so you can fan the hammer with your off hand while drawing, it takes some practice but I was able to do it, would be way easier with a larger hammer. Not super plausible but it does make it easier to thumb back
>>64193191Hoes mad
>>64193289I cut the outside off and counted those as a miss then dropped the point value of each ring by 1 for the longer range one…. Probably not perfect, but again I just wanted to give it a go.
>>64193190Erm, that’s not an fbi qual. I’ve done the fbi qual in a law enforcement setting. Whatever “qual” that is it’s easy as fuck. It’s essentially 30 rounds of slow fire at 25 and 15 yards.
>>64193329Page posted comes right out of an FBI manual Shoot a 300 then
>>64193179>The fire truck still smells like curry.kek>AND YOUR OTHER GUN
>>64193288>>64193289Making one by hand shouldnt be hard, big target and some spray paint. Man i need to start shooting again, 2month break gonna hurt.>>64193315Maybe my buddy lets me use hs 357Mag, I need to buy him some bullets to reload 38Sp just for target shooting as a welcoom gift for bavaria
>>64193334Yeah well it’s not the current fbi qualification. Maybe it was difficult back when they issued .38 revolvers. 50ms splits are not “rapid fire” on a semi auto handgun.
>>64193334I would but I can’t afford to go to the range right now I’m not making shit on DoorDash lately and I have a cell phone and car insurance bill due. If someone wants to spot me 25 for the indoor range fee I’ll do it. I have a couple hundred rounds of 115gr blazer. I’ll even film it. Honestly only want to use it to flex on pastebin schizo.
>>64193345I can tell you from recent experience they’re not exactly slow on a single action lol
>>64193294Word, that's how I do it too, but I'm a thumblet, so I pretty much can't do it with my shooting hand thumb.
>>64193353Are you timed 10 seconds for both strings of fire plus the reload at 15? Also what’s the target size? Even if it was both strings in 10 seconds with a reload that’s pretty generous.
>>64193345Passing with 200/300 is super easy, but I would say 280/300 would be moderately difficult with combat style irons Halve the time allotted for the “rapid” stages and make stage one 10 rounds in 10 seconds from the holster at 25, Joel Park just talked about that drill
>>64193334Also not sure if I can shoot a 300 anyway. I’ve never shot this handgun or an M&P before and I haven’t shot much pistol in the past couple years. I could probably get close tho.
>>64193357Reloads not timed and as I understood it it’s 10 seconds per 5 round string, not 10 seconds collectively. Also it was me only so I used Burt’s “set timer for a few seconds more to give you time to start your timer and set it down…”. THANKS BURT.
>>64193345I think it's the qualification that killed 10mm actually, since the FBI agents couldn't pass
>>64193251It was worth the weird look for the fun.
>be me>visit a different gun store since they got an USP40 on "sale">ask the owner to take a look at it>guy makes an annoyed sigh>reluctantly hands it to me>get angry at me because I took the magazine out (I do that at the other gun store, owner even lets me rack the slide the gun to check if it's empty)>gives me an speech on how I might scratch the magazine and the magazine well>hand the gun back to him>leaveHope you enjoy my blog, at least today I got free time to clean my guns at home.
>>64193366>>Joel ParkYou guys dick ride the dumbest people
>>64193219For the record I scored myself at a 204. Again with the caveat that I dropped some of the outer stage 1 shots off and reduced the points for the rest.
How is the Hellcat Pro Comp?
>>64193404There's a boomer at my local range who shoots his by benchresting it on an upside down brass buckethe shoots for fucking hours at a time, and it's so incredibly loud it makes me want to turn around and leave when I get to the range and see his car in the parking lot (a black GMC Yukon with a USC Trojans license plate holder)it's probably a decent gun though
>>64193411Based boomer doing his thing. Loud seems to be a sliding scale based on what your used too….
>>64193388I had a gun store do this to me once. Told me I couldn’t dry fire or field strip a pistol I was intending to purchase. I left, never went back and left a nasty google review. That was after I bought a vp9 from them that had a trigger bar burr. If I can’t make sure the gun I’m buying is free of defects before I buy it you can fuck right off.
>>64193429BasedSome cocksucker store wouldn't tell me over the phone if the Inox 92 they were selling online was US or Italian-made because "it doesn't matter"one google review later and they called me back
>>64193411I had no idea 9mm comps were that loud or are you over exagerating? I've literally never seen anyone at the range with any comp on a handgun
>>64193473A comp on an already short-barreled gun? Yes, they're fucking loud. A Glock 19C sounds like a .40. A comped Hellcat sounds like a .357 Sig.
https://dualhammer.com/products/ios-cuthuh. Someone now does the Nighthawk IOS cut aftermarket now (not through nighthawk), even to a CZit allows for plates you mount the optic to and then mount to the slide, you can swap optic plates in 30 seconds without having to undo optic screws (except SRO and RMR HD). 250 versus the 450 dollars Nighthawk charges, but Nighthawk gives you a coverplate with irons matched to your slide and this place you have to provide a plate (150 dollars) and get no irons. >>64193473with actual hot ammo, like +P or +P+ they're loud as fuck. >>64193539Big bore revolvers…..It’s funnier if you forewarn people about the 454…. “This is gonna be apocalyptically loud and I didn’t want anyone to jump”. They always look at you like “yeah it’s a gun”. With the only exception being people who know what it is…. By and large they always end up telling me “thanks for the warning I didn’t think it was gonna be that loud”.
>>64193179USP anon here.I did print it out on a 9x11 copy paper.Don’t think it mattered though because the part that counts I’m pretty sure is the same size. Just better not land outside the 7.Uh, right?
>>64193579Scaling might be off, so some of your hits might be in the higher score ring Idk it just looks a little small to me
>>64193572That thing must sound like a bomb
>>64193579yeahso long as the circle is the same size (8 ring is 8 inches (hence the name), 9 ring is 5.5 inches, 10 ring is 3.3)
>print targetsAre b8 targets hard to find for you?
>>64193583It’s weirdly louder if your to the side. Directly behind the grip your kind of in the eye of the recoil so to speak. The level of noise with that and the 454 Alaskan is very loud, but the concussion is I think what everyone really notices.. it’s something you feel more than hear. Super hot 44 mag gets close especially from a shorter barrel..
>>64193590Probably not, but I would have to go buy them. Whereas I have the copy paper and printer right here in my house.
>>64193429One thing is dry firing or stripping it, other thing is removing a fucking magazine, it's not fucking Hitler's gun, is a mass produced piece of steel and polymer.
>>64193609removing a mag to slip in a live round and killing yourself right there at the counter or robbing the place is a thing but doesn't sound like it in this case
>>64193615by the looks of the guy he was already holding a gun under the counter, either for me or himself
>>64193609I won’t buy a gun unless I’ve dry fired it. I have brought snap caps with me specifically for stuff that’s not dry fired safe. That said I won’t ask to dry fire anything that I’m not planning on buying right there.. it’s the last check I want to do.. mostly because I feel like gun shop employees get tired of people dry firing for no reason all day long…
>>64193591kek you must be popular with the guys in the lanes next to you
>>64193712Honestly after I got it converted and they put the brake on I stopped bringing it in so much… it’s way more than that range is really meant for…. Last couple of times I shot it I was against the wall on one side with an empty lane next to me… not worth trying right now because with the fire ban the range is packed…. When it’s free to shoot outside the range clears up a lot.. I go because I keep a yearly membership and it’s 5 minutes from my house vs a 45 minute drive out to the middle of nowhere…. I go pretty much every week
>>64193609It’s the same thing. I’m not buying a firearm I can’t inspect, period. Dry firing and field stripping does nothing to reduce the value or longevity of a modern firearm. They’ve all been loaded and test fired at the factory. It’s critical that you check for corrosion, deformation and a smooth trigger pull / reset before making a non refundable purchase. I have never had another firearms dealer object to this. Especially in the day and age of shit for brains DEI hires machining assembling and quality checking these things. 4 out of 5 colt m4a1’s I inspected at a local shop had deformation on the bolt, feed ramp and chamber. There have been several firearms I’ve not bought due to assembly errors or deformation.
>>64193388>owner even lets me rack the slide the gun to check if it's emptyI would never do business with a gun shop that tried to prevent me from personally ensuring a firearm they handed me was unloaded. Nor have I ever come across a gun shop that tried to.

>>64194003no
>>64193988I think he clearly just wants a classic 1911A1, not a good shooter but exactly what it was back then. I sort of have the same thing with this thing, what a 1980s “tacitcool” 1911 would be (because that is what it is, it’s from 1978). I’m not going to optic cut it or anything else
>>64194094Are those Pachmayrs rubber?
>>64194106Yes and quite comfortable, but they smell weird since they’re really old. I’m replacing them with these which is the same rubber grips used on the Delta Elite but with a different medallion Or I might get a new manufacture set of pachmyers.
>>64193988Obviously it's not actually historic, it's just identical to what was issued from like 1942-1985, which is interesting on it's own. Multiple generations of men were handed a pistol exactly like this and forced to deal with it. The M1911A1 is likely the very first handgun that millions of american men ever fired. It's cool.>>64193995I love these protected cut BoMars setups so much. I had a picture of a protected cut Elliason (python) rear sight on a 1911 but I can't find it. I feel like the modern kensight repros look kinda off.

>>64193694Fuck em then, they can lose their shirt to PSA undercutting them on everything by >10%. One of the main reasons to go to a gun store is to give the trigger a try and see how it fits the hand. I've never once had an employee in a chain store say a word about a few dry fires, and why would they? As for removing the mag that's also retarded, anyone who doesn't immediately check a gun that some random inbred handed to them is a moron. I'd bet anyone who's served in any military has at least once had someone swear on their life that a loaded gun is unloaded. I'm glad I don't have any of those kind of boomer local gun stores around me, they all deserve to go under.
I would like to buy a handgun of a reputable brand (Sig Sauer, S&W, HK, Baretta, etc) and I have a budget of around $600 or so. I live in NV and it would ideally be for recreation, shooting at the range and home defense if it came to it. I've always had a fascination with handguns. Where should I start looking? If it matters, I also have smaller hands, they're a bit pudgy because I'm fat.
>>64194714>reputable brand>Sig SauerLess so everyday m8. Get a glock 19, it's boring but it can do everything. Nightstand, ccw, plinking, whatever. Endless accessories, holsters, and cheap plentiful mags. Forget HK with your budget, but if you don't want the glock Beretta APXs are dirt cheap so you can put the savings into getting a few extra mags and a light. I'd stick with a compact though because they can fill any role in a pinch. I guess the M&Ps are fine though I've never had one, I love the PX4 but there's no reason for you to get one over an APX, the PDP is my favorite currently on the market but it's at the edge of your budget. To summarize, glock 19 or Beretta APX a1 compact if you want to save money.
>>64194543post your rmrhd stalker-chan>>64194524kek
>>64194714The other anon who responded before me gave good advice. If you aren't planning on concealed carrying the thing then a fullsize pistol is also a viable option, so a Glock 47 instead would also work. You could also pick up a Beretta commercial M9 for about that much as well and that'll be a good shooter as well
>>64193473Comps are extremely loud, they direct a blast of gasses and thus sound directly upward and it is confined by the ceiling of the shelter or indoor range so they're louder to shooters next to you, and to you. It's one of the two reasons I'm telling people not to get a comp gun for carry, the other reason being that they will blast shit out of the ports sometimes which you do not want happening in a defensive scenario where you may have to fire from a retained position. That shit can get in your eyes. When I was young and dumb I got a G19C to carry because I didn't realize it, and while it was flatter shooting than a regular G19, I quickly realized that a regular G19 does not warrant that nonsense. One night time shoot showed me how much shit was blasting out of the ports and I replaced the barrel for carry use since it was my only gun before trading it evenly for a new G19.
>>64194690Thank you dawg <3
>>64195197I usually recommend a compact for people who want a one gun solution. They're not the best at anything but they can do everything. Even if they wanted 2 guns I'd still recommend a compact pistol, the second would be a AR.
Guys retards are malding at Glock for writing some letter saying this is worse than when Bill Ruger and S&W cucked.I haven't been following this, is this actually something substantial or just autism?
>>64195603Seems like Glock doesn’t want to be associated with blacks killing each other with switches. Of course the 2A gunko-pop enjoyers online take issue with this because they love cool black gangstas exercising “le based second amendment rights!” (killing children in drive by shootings) and also have a weird complex about groveling for muh rights instead of just doing what they want.
>>64193179Striker slop bros, what do we think of the VP9L? I like my Glocks and PDP better. Considering selling it and buying a M2.0 to replace.
Revolver anons, I suspect something may be wrong with my Python or the ammo I'm using but would like some data from people who actually shoot their revolvers. These are my questions:1. How many rounds of .357 (or any other substantial revolver cartridge really) do you have to shoot before so much residue builds up under the ejector star that it makes opening and closing the cylinder difficult? 2. Does this answer change depending on the ammo you use?
>>64195635At the end of the day Glock is a European company that sells a lot to Police and Military, just like HK the civilian market is a bonus in their eyes. People think that major gun companies care about civilian sales because muh profit when the reality is many companies would be happy with guaranteed government contracts alone.
>>64195603It's unironically an anti-2A letter, actually read it for yourself instead of having others put a spin on it>We support states like yourself (Oklahoma) enacting laws that match the federal prohibitions>We have nothing to do with the nigs modifying our guns to go full autoBut I'm not malding because it's literally a survival letter. This isn't Glock's time to go full 2A absolutist when you have lawyers all over the country making a case banning Glocks because they've earned a reputation for being used illegally. They are trying to avoid a ban or forcing of their hand to change their design. Getting on the side of state governments and sending letters like this that help their court precedent would facilitate them to continue to get their reliable handguns to people, which honestly does more for the 2A than grandstanding. Sometimes it's not all black and white. They feel like their options are either to grovel to state governments for and lose some respect from the gun community, or lose their current business altogether. They're playing the game and I can't hate them for it because I understand why they have to
>>64195727Depends wildly on the ammo used. I’ve had dirty low power 45lc loaded on unique gym up my super redhawk to the point where the cylinder feels like it drags in less than 100 rounds… and I’ve had ammo where it probably would be ok after 1000 rounds.. also when you clean the ejector don’t lube the daylights out of it.. that will get gunky, it gets a very very light coat of oil if any at all….
>>64194708The mag thing I 100% agree. The dry fire thing I think you should at least ask just because their are guns that dryfiring can damage.
>>64194690>Use 242 LoctiteWouldn't 243 be better since it's "oil tolerant" and there's lube on guns?
>>64193888Why? The DA trigger is the safety.

How do I become a gunsmith? Is that a trade school?
>>64196254It depends on what you mean by gunsmith, because gunsmith can mean fixing/changing out hard to service parts on guns, it can mean having the skillset to make a gun out of steel scrap metal, it also can mean buying a 3D printer and slapping a parts kit in a printed receiver. Just like any smithing there's a gradient of prestige and skill.
>>64196254Don't pay for gunsmithing lessons unless it's free from a GI bill or something, and even then, it's very dubious. Literally just go to a gun store and ask for a job doing sight installations and red dot installations, and you can learn on the job to do more and more stuff. Youtube and online manuals will teach you more than any trade school can. Also, though it may sound fuddy, wear eye pro while going gumsmif shit. My local guy was forced into retirement after he lost sight in his right eye because a spring flew out and hit him in the cornea.
>>64196261>being this dense>>64196254you go in a gunsmith school, S&W has one but don't think you'll make a fortune doing custom shit, 99% of your job will be cleaning Bubba deer gun and adding a scope to his new rifle.now if you really want to make 100% custom guns and accessories you'll need an engineering degree on top of your gunsmith diploma
For my next gun, a Glock 19, Beretta, or S&W?
>>64196254Either become a machinist since being able to make metal parts fit and operate lathes and milling machines is super important. Knowing how to put together an AR-15 or install Glock sights is less important (online gunsmithing “”schools””). Your local gunstore’s gunsmith probably just installs sights all day and fixes guns people out together wrong but people like Vulcan and other machine shops are looking for talented machinists, not people who can put together Glocks. I know Nighthawk and Wilson Combat take on apprenticeships but they are very selective and take on already experienced professionals. There are people who do it as a hobby who are way more knowledgeable than people who get paid to do it.

>>64193488Nighthawk seems like the better overall deal but that's pretty cool. I really dig the idea of being able to swap optics around a couple guns easily.
>>64195800Thanks anon. I had my cylinder bind up after about 100 rounds of PMC 158gr soft point. Would've had to force it into the frame. At first I thought it was thermal expansion since I shot those 100 rounds pretty fast, but it was still an issue after it cooled down. Checked under the ejector star and found lots of gunpowder residue.>when you clean the ejector don’t lube the daylights out of it.. that will get gunky, it gets a very very light coat of oil if any at all….I have probably been making this mistake. And maybe since the Python has a pretty tight cylinder gap, the threshold for too much residue under the ejector is probably relatively low
Should I get an EPS or EPS Carry for my tx22?
>>64197478Both use the same footprint but the eps is a wider window
took the red dot out, first time shooting with it. got it zeroed out at 15 yards. still think it could use some adjustment but I'm happy with it for the time being. most of the shots happened at 7-8 yards. shot some one handed too and that was terrible, also did some going from arm/shoulder to neck just because the torso and head was just one big hole at that point.
>>64197299Keep in mind if you see dirty cases coming out it’s building up in the cylinder as well…. Weirdly when I reload the less powerful it is the dirtier it tends to be… most of the powders work better at the upper end of their pressure range and you end up with poor and incomplete burns at the lower…. I rarely clean under the ejectors in my Redhawks and when I do I tend to dry them with paper towels, then put a little clp on a paper towel and lightly wipe it on the sliding surfaces.. if it’s “wet” it’ll gum and grab…. Happy shooting

>>64198251There’s still 4 more weeks
Hey, turning twenty one tomorrow and I've been thinking of what to get to celebrate. I already have a nine mil P2000 so on top of more ammo something in a larger caliber and metal framed sounds like fun. Is there anything along those lines that you guys like shooting?
>>64198392What do you like anon? It’s very easy to recommend you a .45 HK or a 1911
I just wish I could have an Heitch &nd Kay Mark 23 in 9mm millimeter.
>>64198430You don't own a P89?
>>64198392I'll say this, I own pistols in 9mm, 40s&w, 45, etc... the 9mm get shot all the time, the 45 get shot less frequently but enough, the 40s&w are a waste of closet space. I'd go 45.What's your budget?
>>64198439No. I have my feelers out for a P94 with integral laser but finding one some retarded boomer isn't asking 200% for is hard
>>64198462Get the "limited edition" P89 with the black/purple slide, stainless controls, and dark stainless frame. They're like $350 and "unique"
>>64198392If you don't have a gun that is "enough" that is actually comfortable to carry, I recommend getting one and getting good with it. I have range toys, but they get no love. My carry pistol is all I usually practice with.
Just shot my hk45c and it is the smoothest shooting 45 compact I've shot, a loot easier than even 45 1911's. How are 45 2011's?
>>64198485Sorry, meant to say uspc45
>>64198485the .45 2011 is just like my 1911s, very soft, but in the reading I've read if the builder fucked up the timing of the lock up then the recoil will be more harsh. That's ontop of the proper recoil and hammer spring weight, if you use a flat bottom firing pin stop the hammer spring has more effect on slowing the slide and less felt recoil at the cost of being harder to rack when hammer down. like shooting .45 compared to 10mm out of a 1911 is like shooting 9mm compared to .45
I'm curious about these integrated holster wedge bumps. They're a relatively new innovation in holsters, but has anyone here tried getting a holster with one in it and wished the bump was a little further one way or the other?
>>64198678Looks like a pressure point, closed cell foam wedge with adhesive strips is cheaper and more comfortable
>>64194772Two problems with Glock, as you said it's a bit boring, it's never been my favorite gun design but I guess that's more of an aesthetic complaint than anything. My second problem is that I'm worried about the slide biting me, as I have slightly pudgy, small hands>>64195197I was looking at Palmetto State Armory, is that a good online gun dealer?
>>64198419>>64198451>>64198475Good points anons. Money isn’t a huge issue, at least to the point where I could afford to invest in a whole new caliber. Still, the biggest sensible reason I would need a new pistol is that I live in a region where brown bears are present, and having something I could bring along to hikes without having to lug a shotgun everywhere sounds good. I already have a reloading press and plenty of 357 mag, if that helps. Definitely wouldn’t be against getting a newer microcompact to carry if I don’t go that route
>>64194714Ignore glocks. Uncomfortable shits. Comfort when shooting a handgun is essential, especially if it's plastic. I'd rather get an M&P 2.0 or a CZ.
>>64193900the gun ate my handwork
>>64198545video is 15 seconds long, mostly the same shot, action only occurs like for 1 second. Dude, look up cutting on action. This way your video isn't droolingly boring.
>>64198718I can't post the image for some reason, but Black Trident's quasimodo looks like it would spread the pressure out a little better at the expense of worse compatibility with a stubborn posterior pelvic tilt.I feel like the optimal implementation of this is a large radius bump, wide in shape, but not protruding by much and kept close to the bottom of the holster. Adhesive mounted foam would probably be more comfortable, but it's a solution that would require maintenance in hot climates.
>>64198752>My second problem is that I'm worried about the slide biting me, as I have slightly pudgy, small handsif you hold it right its a non issuesmall hands make it even less likelythen theres the backstraps that make it extremely unlikely
>contact shooting out of battery issue solved by barrels that poke out>barrels that poke out NOT the standard unless it's threaded
>>64198790If you put that shit near me I’d grab the barrel and pull it out of your little noodle arms and beat you over the head with it.
>>64198790Not really, the barrel can also push the slide out of battery in a contact shot for most short recoil handguns.
>>64198545>>64198419How did you build your .45 2011?
>>64198756Just literally think of the coolest handgun you can think of and buy that
>>64198752>I guess that's more of an aesthetic complaint than anythingThen get an APX with the cost difference you can certainly buy a light and maybe a red dot or some extra mags and a cheap amazon kydex holster for occasional carry.
Is the 509T x2 g2g? Direct milled.
>>64195808>The dry fire thing I think you should at least ask just because their are guns that dryfiring can damageThere's no modern gun this applies to, we're not talking about antiques here. 99.999% of the guns most people are checking out in stores are modern and will not be damaged by any amount of dry fire. Now I'm not saying they should let you stand there and do it 100 times, I typically know if I like the trigger in 5 or so.
>>64198790>blow gun pistolGenius.
>>64196263>wear eye pro while going gumsmif shitAbsolutely you only get one set of eyes. I was inspecting someones AR lower with the upper removed and somehow the hammer pin slid out while the hammer was still cocked... It flew up and chipped one of my teeth because I was talking to someone else at the same time. I've never seen a pin hole so over sized iirc it was a PSA lower. Probably would have done some damage had it hit my eye. I'd probably be less embarrassed to tell people I lost the use of an eye because I got too much semen in it.
>>64198912I would not. Acro footprint has more options and there might be future acro footprint optics.EPS seems to me make WAY more sense than the 509T.
>>64198819>cheely frame, pick Wilson or Para ramp, I did para ramp >Springfield TRP old stock slide >fusion firearms “””match””” bull barrel, para ramp was drop on in the TRP slide, I fit a Kart bushing barrel as well but haven’t tried it >MJD grip module >small parts from other guns >Nighthawk Drop In Trigger unit, developed hammer follow, it might not be compatible with 2011 frames or was damaged. >>64199091Also it’s not cheap at all. It’s way cheaper to start with a finished 9mm 2011 and just replace the slide, barrel, and maybe ejector.

>>64201223Burt please give me the current meta teriyaki recipe with the mirinty
>>64200961It'd be the same for pushing on the slide, no? In a short recoil system, the barrel and the slide are (roughly) rigidly coupled for the first segment of motion following the bullet leaving the muzzle.
I can't wait to see more drill targets!>>64201234I just use the simplest one, 1/3 sake, 1/3 mirin 1/3 basedsauce. >>64201581Sorry to hear that, man. Are you the guy in Colorado? Prosthetics are getting better and better, so maybe you’ll be able to hop back in to shooting later on down the line. Maybe I’m biased because I’m naturally left handed, but I’ve had to learn to do a bunch of shit with my right hand, and I don’t feel clumsy at any of it.
>>64201296Hey Burt! I was wondering if there is a compensator I could put on the TX22 upside down to increase recoil.
I'm looking at the APX full but it's out of stock at bass pro shop and palmetto State armory only seems to have the compact which I don't want. Are there any other reputable online dealers?
>>64201862Why not just go to your local gun store? I'm sure you can easily talk an APX down, especially considering the availble rebate and how Beretta is practically giving them away
>>64201805I imagine you could put any compensator on upside down, they all have some method of clocking that you could just secure 180 degrees out whether it's shims, set screws or otherwise. But that won't increase recoil, just muzzle flip and probly not much at that
>>64193591>It’s weirdly louder if your to the side.No shit, look at that brake. Does it recoil forwards?
>>64201937No, still a lot of rearward momentum. Did a side by side slow motion from before I converted it and after. Both shots are with a 600 gn +p 500 mag round..
>>64201930Thanks. I also want to get an ACRO to cycle reliably. Right now, its right on the edge, and doesn't cycle correctly 100% of the time. Do you think trimming the recoil spring would work?
