>>64198365You might like the scorcese movie The Mission. Terrain is a large plot point and it features tribal vs. colonial jungle combat in the (18th?) century. There's also a lot of focus on the weapons they're using.
In the Amazon rainforest, you have at best 12 meters of visibility. Large megafauna can pass near you without you noticing. Traversing this with equipment would be hell, even for South Americans.
