Sometimes you get killed by the explosion 100 meters away because a piece of shrapnel decided to fly into your femoral artery, sometimes you survive the explosion just meters away. Also not immediately dying does not mean he is for sure okay, there has been plenty of videos of dudes running for 100 meters before collapsing after getting rocked by an explosion.
