ITT: Vidya and Cartoons that made you join the military and go into combat
>>64208018I got Zeek propaganda before I watched the original series, so I was very much into Operation British as a concept.
>>64208018I still play through it from time to time.
>>64208018I didn't do that but it probably helped my interest in guns. Still want to print a shell that looks like the yellow eco blaster for a 10/22. Even has laser sight barrel bands available to make it just like in-game. Might be able to rotate the gun around to make a BX-15 go where the eco canister goes in game if you can do some fucked up trigger linkage to make it all work. But that means I need a working printer and an unfucked computer.>The city's lost...
>play pew pew vidya>immediately join ZOG military forceslaugh at this niggerbrains with me anons
>>64208457This and 4 are phenomenal

>>64208955Jak 2 clears Jak 3. The dynamic music change for every level in that game when you whip out the gun or go on the jetboard is so cool. Very few games do that. Idk why they didn't do that for Jak 3.
>>64208457Great game and the imfdb page is hilarious.https://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Far_Cry_3
>>64209634I like both games. Details of Jak II and features of Jak III. I was going to say there should be an open source port to put the two together but IIRC there actually is a PC port project going on.
Rode my bike home the same way home after school everyday. Except one afternoon, I really wanted a Frosty so I rode by Wendy's. I noticed a recruiting center in the strip mall that I never knew was there. I felt compelled to go in; I had no idea what I wanted to go to college for, I just knew I wanted to go on an adventure of some kind. I thought about all the cool shit Master Chief got to do like shoot machine guns and ride around in his Warthog. I went straight to the Army guy and said I wanted to be like Master Chief, and he explained what the Rangers were. It sounded so sick to me. He asked me when I last smoked weed and I was like uhhh before school today and he told me to get the fuck out. That's when the Marine recruiter slid back in his chair into the hall and waved his hand at me. I reluctantly walked over to his office and had a seat. He asked what kinds of video games I played, and I said sir I love Halo, it's all I play. He nodded and said, "You know, the Marines are a branch of the Navy. Master Chief is in the Navy, are you tracking?" I said yes sir and told him about all my epic battles against the Covenant and Flood in Halo CE, all the kills I got on Lockout and Zanzibar, and that the Halo 2 Battle Rifle was my favorite weapon ever. He nodded and pointed at a Marine holding an M16A4 with an ACOG. "Look familiar? That's basically the Halo 2 BR if I ever seen one," he said. "And by the way, the Marines are getting new Spartan suits just like Chief's. You'll be hooking and jabbing like a true UNSC Spartan, but your suit will say US motherfucking MC." I told him to give me a few days to pee clean and I'd be ready to ship off to Meps. I also had the highest asvab score he'd ever seen, which was an 82, and he said with a score that high I'd be able to be in the new ODST Battalion they were working up. I ended up barely making it through bootcamp and spent most of my fleet time on light duty.
