Then he looked at me, raised his arms, and hissed like a Snake. He yelled "ARE YOU READY FOR MY SORIDU SNAKEU?!" Then he raped me. Every few seconds he would exclaim "JUST RIKE MY JAPANESE ANIMES!" I cried and begged for him to stop, but it was no good. Near the end of it all, as he was close to finishing, he started to stare directly into my eyes, and kept repeating over and over again: "David Hayter, David Hayter, David Hayter, David Hayter". And then, he pulled back for one final thrust, howled, and then screamed "Do you rike THIS?!" And it was all over.And that's how Hideo Kojima ruined my life.

Multiple notorious outlaws had fancy pants peacemakers and John Dillinger famously got a gunsmith to convert his 1911 to full auto, mounted a compensator and a VFG and had it rechambered into .38 Super. A state backed super spy getting their hands on a gucci 1911 in 1964 isn't that far out of the realm of possibility.

This why you see the use of uncommon suppressed handguns in the actual Vietnam War. They were missing a piece to the puzzle and couldn't turn an issued item into a suppressed weapon and had to use a bunch of odd ball guns like various Berettas, Walthers, and other fixed barreled pistols and the Welrod, unless they were issued the MK22 Hush-puppy, which is in the game.... just need a gunsmith to alchemically create a tranquilizer 9mm cartridge but guys had custom weapons in the past so that must not be a stretch either.... (BUT it is cool and the idea of a Suppressed 45 ACP 1911 (Theoretically) would be the lineage of the HK MK23 (Conceptually) and the MK23 is in 'later'(Earlier) games so duh they have to give you a chimpanzee if they can't get a man.
