alright boys. Im looking for the files and webms of the most iconic explosion, battles, and instances of dronewarfare in the current conflict in ukraine. Can anyone help me out? bonus points if you have the missile hitting the helicopter mid air

>>64248759It's worse than that, it carries thermobaric warheads (100% fuel, uses oxygen from the atmosphere) with only a bit of HE to disperse it. Thermobaric used to be the Russian wunderwaffen buzzword before they switched to hypersonic and their thermobaric weapons turned out to be more dangerous to their own soldiers than the enemy due to the low activation threshold necessary for a fuel that's supposed to use air as an oxidizer.

I don’t know how it ends. And as much as I don’t like it, the compilations from Rybar of Russian SSO ambushing Ukrainians are brutal and efficient. There’s also a video from a Mavic filming 3 or 4 Russians meeting eachother at a road’s intersection, they greet and hug each other but moments later Ukrainian FPVs arrive and interrupt them. Cast steel is about 20% weaker because it cannot undergo the strengthening process of forging or rolling steel ingots.Welded turrets also tend to have weak spots at the welds, but APFSDS and HEAT are specialized for penetration power and do not have the impact force to tear off the welds.

>>64252114>Isn't a single piece of metal stronger than multiple pieces wielded together? Not necessarily. It's a lot harder to handle quality control on complex metal casting than, say forged or welded. Welds themselves are often very strong; the seams near the welds are the failure point. This is mitigated, and drastically so, by using (drum roll) good welders*. On the contrary, a cast metal part requires extremely specific conditions to allow the metal to crystallize (freeze/cool) exactly how you want it to.Depending on the complexity of the part, it can be simpler, cheaper, or even more effective to just use a high quality bar stock and mill it to spec. In other cases it's easier to use that same high quality bar stock and "hide" the bends and welds needed to shape it appropriately. All that said, even if welded metal is still weaker than a cast piece, sometimes you want to know HOW things will fail, and plan to engineer them in a way that they can fail acceptably. If you can transfer an explosion away from the vehicle, that's great. Barring that, if you can move it away from the crew and critical engine systems to, say, the muffler? That's a win right there as well. All this is to say that there isn't a "right" answer about which manufacturing method is the best. It all depends on what you're building, how you're building it, and why you're building it. If you have a project that can be held up in quality control for three times as long as it's in production, that's one thing. If it needs to be churned out fast and you don't care if a few b-list units make it to market, that's another all together.>*weld quality depends on things like the heating/cooling conditions of the surrounding metal prior to welding, the technique used to stack beads or create your seam, flux/infill, and whether you're using MIG, TIG, or stick welding for the types of metal you're tying together

>>64251266>>64251263This reminds me of some of the purest copium I've seen this entire war, as the usual suspects (RWA, Copelord) claimed this was actually an incredible 5d chess move by Russia>Russians deliberately let Ukraine sink ship>Zelensky will travel to drone operators to award them medal>Russia tracks him, now they know drone unit location>hits it with missile>XAXAXA RUSSIA WINS AGAIN
>>64248395>>64248472the first few frames of the toropets explosion are legit wallpaper material

>>64254212I don't have it anymore, but there was a video of one of those riot trucks in a tow. Square on loud speaker telling people to remain calm and go home etc etc. A guy in civvies just comes up with an RPG and blows it up cool as.Found the video, but its reddit so sorry.https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/t3nsxi/russian_infantry_vehicle_asking_people_to_stay/
