It's not good but i respect them for trying to commit to the bullpup and sticking with it for as long as they have.They could swap to your basic basspro ar-15 and get a lighter, more accurate, more reliable rifle but then you'd but another country fielding an AR and thats kind of boring (as a fan)

On its own merits this is as good a bullpup conversation for the BRN that I can think of. The L85 furniture is 3d printed and might not be worth the extra buck, but I always liked how the L85 looks because of STALKER so I went for it. Installing the handguard and cheek piece is a little tricky if you are stupid like me, and the manual is a little vague but I figured it out with only some swearing.The charging handle bothers me a bit because it is very close to my face, but I'll have to actually shoot it and see if it is a real problem or not.

A complete rifle with BRN-180 upper is almost 2k which is about what most low volume production bullpups sell for. That said, there are more affordable options if you aren't married to a bullpup that is vaguely L85 shaped.A&K also do batch production because they are a small enterprise, so you have to pay up and then wait. I didn't like doing that, but it is what it is. Can't expect 2 guys in a shed with an FFL07 to be sending lowers out into the regular firearm distribution system.It worked out for me because I already had a BRN-180 so I only needed the lower. I'm not bashing A&K or the AKB-23 at all. I love it so far.
