Its more compact, lighter, and somehow less recoil un stocked. Comps don't help with blowbacks because all of the recoil is from the blowback operation and the bolt reciprocating. A2 said it and its really true, lightweight blowbacks a bad time. A 7.5” ar might be more concussive but has noticeably less recoil.
