Talk me out of it

Nah. Enjoy.

What happened? Why is it so stubby?

If you remove the front sight post, how far do you think you could stick it up your ass?

SMOOOOOKE

>>
>>64281247
just use a proper lower with a1 furniture
>>
>>64281247
Don't use a KP15 lower, otherwise do it. They work great with strela flash hiders to artificially increase dwell time like >>64281507
>>
>>64281247
Oh hey I have almost that exact setup lmao.
Anyway Arfcom said dissys were obsolete so buy two.
>flared magwell and fixed trigger guard do be kinda ghey doe
>>
No, carry handle guns are fun, but get a proper lower, not a gay one. They're not even worth it over a regular lower.

Hello fellow c-more appreciator. Those things really do not get enough love.
>>
>>64281247
don't get the upper without a pic rail, you'll regret it later
>>
>>64283702
nobody should be running a rifle-length dissy, they are unreliable

I haven't seen a Seymour in quite a bit. I remember them being quite rudimentary back in the day. Did they ever improve on it?
>>
>>64283974
i took this advice 2 decades ago and i regret it.
fucking railed uppers are everywhere and the a1 or a2 that cost maybe 10-20 bucks over a flattop is now unobtainum or +200
that stripped a1 is now more than a complete flatop m4gery upper assembly
>>
>>64283341
Hello my fellow c-more appreciator,
I wonder what the a2 carry handle upper and big front hole (both Colt) early sp1 uppers I snagged off eBay for 90$ are worth now
>>

>>64281964
How durable are those PA prisms, on a scale of 1-10 with ACOG being a 10?
I love the look of them, however.
>>
>>64282967
Looks more like a KAK

>dont get the lower! i dont like the guy who made it!
>>
>>64285383
8, they're very solid, but not as overbuilt as ACOGs, and the illuminated reticle is battery powered and mine has a flaky connection.
>>
>>64284312
I had one that I used extensively but lost to an unfortunate turn of events, it was awesome and if I ever bother getting another red dot I'm just gonna buy another one of those. You want the aluminum version.
>>
>>64284312
But yes they're still pretty rudimentary. I like that though. Easy to use and tough as bricks and it won't break the bank.
>>
>>64284358
>Not nvg compatible.
Meh.
>>
>>64281247
Get yourself a real lower
>>
Hey, we like what we like and if you want it, get it.

Fellow Seymour enjoyers, have a blessed day
>>
>>64287564
Based DOE enjoyer. Do they sell just those folding front sights?
>>
>>64287603
Im sure someone does, people were making DOE clones before PSA hit the market, not sure if they were just selling off complete barrel assemblies though.

Also, the front folder sucks, very easy to bump into something and have it fold down on you. Maybe if my entire job was carrying it around somewhere I never had to use it I wouldnt care
>>
>>64281247
Looks alright to me.

>>64281442
I don't care much for Karl, and I've lost most respect I had for Cinnamon Riflebun, but the KP15 lower is literally ok. Not fantastic, not shit, but ok.
If you want a lighter weight lower and you like the old USGI stock and grip profile, it'll do the job.

I could however imagine some improvements to the idea of a monolithic plastic AR15 lower.

>>64281507
Don't those drums royally suck?
>>
>>64285308
It actually didn't, which is why Dissys weren't used that much.
I imagine that it might be possible to solve this with some sort of muzzle device that boosts backpressure though, but it can't add too much length.

>>64287516
That thing begs for a fixed carry handle.
>>
>>64287562
No, had a local smith cut her down and I just put it together. Love it, real handy setup.
>>64287723
I love the handling, might have to get a proper upper now-- I think I do have an A2 upper, but she might be on my dissipator build already. I'm not trying to make sort of clone or repro.
>>
>>64287630
>>64287630

how do the folding things work and what are they for
