That movie was an anti-gun owner movie since the villains were a gun manufacturer and even the lead actor talked about how it was meant to make fun of gun owners and their so called "fantasies."
Stick with movies like Death Wish or even the last decent Arnold Schwarzenegger movie The Last Stand.

you mean that thing we literally all do?

nah that movie was only good because of alecia keys and the other black chick.

This is totally /k/kino but I never see it discussed here.

The story was actually decent with an alright twist. Multiple killers were good. The one with the mask who got the closest was a well written character.
Did you even watch the movie?

Honestly kinda hated it the first time because I thought it was gonna be a much different film.
On second watch I really appreciated how tight the writing was and how complete the universe felt.
It wasn't a full on "le XD" zany acid trip movie like Fear and Loathing, and it wasn't a full on dumb caveman action flick like Crank, it was more like The Matrix but for really shitty assassins who suck at their jobs, desu

Osiris is worth a watch. Just saw this by accident. b-movie but they had 2 guys from the TV show The Unit in it. Funny to see them do CQB and other SF tactics on a spaceship and fight aliens.

It's film noir with a large amount of stylized action scenes.

I enjoyed the Siege of Jadotville recently, not entirely sure how accurate the movie was (Hitting the jet with the tipped over jeep's gun looked a bit hollywood)

Well, if arrow released it then it was likely an obscure b movie that no ones ever seen. That would explain why no one talks about it, you fucking retard.

They are practically the same movie, I especially liked the part in the matrix when Neo took a whole bottle of Ritalin and then tripped balls in front of morpheus.

What I mean by "it's like the Matrix but for shitty assassins" is that it's more of a drama piece with a few climactic action scenes, while the majority of the movie is filled with in depth world building and snappy dialogue scenes.
The Matrix has like a 90% dialogue to action ratio, but there's like a million things that happen because it focused on creating a beleivable universe that you can get fully immersed in.
I would compare dude who disguises himself as a homeless person and dies in a pointless elevator shootout to any of the minor characters in The Matrix, like that dude who dual wields hilariously impractical automatic shotguns and dies pointlessly in 15 nanoseconds against the swat team in that building with the brick wall.
Equally kino, plus it's not low-key tranny-slop

The most /k/ino that you've never watched because it is a French movie:

Colt45
Unironically, it's more /k/ than Tom Cruise's Collateral.

BONUS: /k/ with Zombies in
Daylight's End (2016)
( with Johnny Strong, who played Sergeant First Class Randall Shughart in Blackhawk Down)

For a movie to be actual /k/ino, guns should be respected by the characters in the movie, if I see any gunfu or characters that act like they know that they have plot armor I'm immediatelly turned off.

>Hitting the jet with the tipped over jeep's gun looked a bit hollywood
that was actually one of the actually somewhat accurate events from the incident that they put in the film

it was quite possible back in the days of subsonic 1st-gen jets. and there's an infantry drill where everyone basically lies on their backs and fires their weapons - rifles, MGs, everything - at the same patch of sky ahead of an incoming enemy plane hoping that it will fly into the bullets. I forget what it's called.

Battleship.

what about the sniping the fat white dude in the panama suit who was running everything. That too was cool but felt too good to be true

The episodes that break away from the self contained/ episodic ones and build on each other are extremely good.
The rest are still pretty good.
Even more kino now that the ai stuff is starting to become a reality.

I don't know
I just know the tilted-over jeep incident is both said to be true in accounts of the battle, and very plausible

What is this shit? The poster I saw had him upside down without all this bullshit on screen. It's the thing I remember the most about the poster. Not only is he double fisting pistols in the air, he's wrong side up. Loved this movie as a kid. Especially the last bit where he wrapped the barbed wire around his fist to beat the shit outta the emo faggot.
