So whats yhe point of it?
>>64290876To look cool.
>>64290876To give another option for the military. They are spoiled for choice in the next increment.
>>64290876I'm sure israel has SOME use for it, otherwise america wouldn't develop it

to diesame as all attritable platforms
Based on that one concept animation, my layman understanding is that they're missile trucks for the fighter pilot>pilot can engage from further away via drones, reducing risk of getting shot down>drones are in front taking the flak (metaphorically or literally) on the pilot's behalf, again reducing risk on the pilot or their more valuable plane>I guess it also enables them to bring more missiles to the fight, and/or to keep less on the fighterthus enabling one pilot/plane to do the work of several
>>64290963missile trucks and sensor platforms, basically does everything except the decision making process. Pilot in the manned fighter that hangs out behind these guys will use the SA afforded by the datalinked sensors to engage targets via the drones, acting like a mini AWACS

>>64290876Missile truck for 5th gen penetrating into Chinese AA WEZ?>this I don't know anything about it except the image
>>64290963More so, its likely drones will use human pilot as human interceptor rather than human guider. Drones can seek targets automatically, launch missiles/guns/bombs/etc automatically. They're not just going to be dumb robots that need human guidance but rather human is input as a last measure to stop the drones from doing what its capable of. In case there's false positives.
