I work at a large gun retailer and sent an email to Lipseys asking about availability for the SP101s with the 3" barrel/half lug/adjustable sights/.327 Mag and got a response from a Key Accounts Manager that they have another batch of the blued version "on order." So if you were like me and missed out on the first run, fret not because more will be made. Now I'm just trying to decide if I'd rather have the stainless version.

>still stainless steel
>its just blued
If the finish wears it still has the corrosion resistance of stainless steel?

Is that what Ruger does? That's pretty gay.

Idk i made that up because it makes sense to me rather than using a different kind of steel than what they already know works with the dimensions of the model

I’m just not a fan of the tiny hammer less double actions…. Cool gun but not for me.

New charter arms 22. 510$? Seems pricey but that puts it towards the lower end of double actions 22lr revolvers that are new production…. Thoughts?

>Make revolver with Mateba style barrel placement
>Use the lower barrel and raised cylinder to hold a rail
>Rail is low enough you can use full size holo sights etc without making your gun stupid tall
>Make it come with some plastic spacer you can use when no optic mounted so it's not fugly and doesn't make the irons get caught on everything
r8. Red=rail.
please note, I did not spend any effort thinking of how this would actually work or drawing it to scale. Just pretend it's some full retard thing like an upside down hammer or striker fired .22 with a grip made for Andre the Giant.

Do you know how bluing works? I don't think you do.

I like all my guns, but revolvers are my favorite.

It's a great gun, I wasn't a fan of the adjustable sights so I had my local gunsmith put a novak rear on it and reduce the trigger pull. Probably one of my best gun I have now. I like being able to shoot any .32 I find.
>>
Can you also ask them if S&W is planning to ever remake their 327 chambered revolver again, or will just keep that hammer deprived 32 HR?
>>
I got a gp100 a couple weeks ago and I love it though I kinda wish now I had went for the 4 inch barrel instead of the 6, 6 really is kinda long.

Could I rely on a Taurus to save my life if a shitbull ever saw me as a snack?

hell no. you're gonna need one of these.

Cool grip, where'd you get it? Also I really hate how that rear sight looks, but if it works for you then more power to you, but idk why you didn't just get one of the Novak sight sp101s in the first place.

I'll send him an email tomorrow and let you know if I get a response.
>>
>>64312719
Oh wait, I'm retarded. They didn't make those models in .327 mag. Still, not a fan of that look.
>>
>>64306473
>plastic
That's actually a really good and feasible idea.
>>
>>64310766
Provided you shot it enough to trust your life with it, sure. But nu-taurus will still make lemons on occasion.
>>
Not the revolver topic we asked for, but the one we need.
>>
>>64312814
Make it come with a bunch of them so you can cut them to mesh around whatever optic you mount.

>Stainless steel is made specifically not to oxidize.
>(You) "Just oxidize it."
