Not quite thread related, but I'm considering getting an AP53. What makes this thread relevant is that I am weighing this against making a shorty AR. I wouldn't consider an AR with a barrel shorter than 10.5-11.5" so this isn't a direct comparison. However I dont know how the AP53 would handle ballistics being that its roller-delayed blowback instead of direct gas inpingementAny thoughts or advice? Anything that might make the AR a better choice other than more readily available parts/support?
