itt: guns that are awesome if you replace 80% of the parts

Any AK

glocks according to glock owners

my scorpion seems pretty awesome right out of the box, only thing I've replaced is the charging handle
>>
Any reason to get the Scorpion when the Kuna exists now?
>>
>>64318014
Glocks actually become WORSE if you use non OEM parts. Maybe non-OEM sights are acceptable because they're inert bits that can't cause malfunctions.

When you change parts based on comp shooting trends then yes, a glock becomes an unreliable pile of shit. That goes for most pistols though. When you make changes based on functionality itself usually load specific then a glock becomes better.
>>
>>64317818
hypothetically could you get a scorpion pistol and mount a long brace on it? like, long enough to reach your shoulder?

No that's just autism, grip the pistol tighter nigga
>>
>>64318158
No, there isn't.

Ngl been thinking about selling my scorpion. I just can't justify it. Especially with the oob issues

Sold my Scorpion to get a real Skorpion and haven’t looked back. I ended up only ever using the Evo as a range toy and decide if it was just for fun I wanted something cooler and even smaller
>>
>>64318158
Nah, you're retarded if you get a PCC that isn't delayed blowback. The roller delay upper for the scorpion is potentially interesting if it doesn't cause undue wear but it will never be a real RDB on account of the bolt weight and there's zero reason to go through the hassle. I would probably go with something other than the kuna though, seems they're pretty much at the same point reliability wise as the stribog sp9a3 was a few years back before many of it's design problems were fixed/mitigated.

I know that feeling, my scorpions been sitting untouched in the safe for nearly 5yrs now...

Everyone says this about CZs. "Great gun now send it to some guy to rebuild 50% of the gun with aftermarket parts."
>>
>>64318158
I think the kuna has some reliability issues and also has less aftermarket.
The Nexus delayed receiver makes it very nice and also better to suppress than the kuna and much better than stock.

Ngl the psa akv seemed like a good binary host. I was considering that.

Pretty much any AR-15 you can buy off the rack at a gunstore.

I dislike glocks, but for some reason im a fucking marksman with them. My club, from time to time, is doing some meme competitions. Last time it was 5 shoots, 25m, glock 45 gen5. I won it with 48 points.
Im not sure i could pull it out with my tricked out shadow 2.
>>
>>64317818
The only things I felt the need to replace on my gen 1 evo was the grip, trigger spring for reduced weight, and right side safety to an ak style. Was less than $50 for everything so I didnt mind it. Everything else I replaced was due to 922r/SBR
>>
>>64320728
The lighter trigger is nice but the Timney is so good
>>
>>64321543
Timney AR triggers work decently for single stage. How are their Rem700 triggers?

I have a glock you nincompoop
Never experienced a single jam until I bought a Zev slide
>>

this is like putting a loud exhaust and a spoiler on a fucking Camry
>>
>>64323800
I think my friend has a Timney in the rifle he recently sold me so I guess that makes it my rifle now. It's a pretty solid single stage trigger, I'm no single stage expert so I can't say more than that
>>
>>64318225
I have a Shadow, runs fine.
>>

no one says this because its not 2010 anymore.
