Fine for quick looks around but operating long term in them sucked. They also just didn't quite have the resolution for anything serious. To get what you're accustomed to, you'd probably be looking for Gen2, but you can get a Gen3 Elbit green phosphor PVS-14 (the lighterweight monocular) for like $2500 nowadays. They're decent.
