Had Serbia or Iraq had this much endurance for pain and destruction of their country like Ukraine is. How would the first gulf war and Bosnian/Kosovo war have ended?

Considering Ukraine didnt fall after the initial, (attempted) blitz across their territory by the Russians, their situation is mostly incomparable. Iraq, with a motivated force could probably give a lot of hurt to coalition forces, but at the end of the day I wouldnt say casualties rise above 100000 for western (and etc) forces. Their air power was just too much for a country like Iraq to quell the invasion, especially considering AA batteries and similar could be considered one of the most resilient and dangerous foes on the Iraqi side. They were raped in our timeline, and even in the timeline where no Iraqi is born a coward or corrupt fuck it could only slow the inevitable capitulation/surrender of Iraq.

Saddam might not survive to lead the country for another ~10 years or so. It is highly questionable whether any kind of reasonable insurgency would arise.

Serbia is another case, they were shown the hammer, and it crushed them. No amount of resilience can stop something so strong. Serbia cant reasonably do any better in any scenario, maybe another 117 gets shot down along with a few more aircraft, but thats really it.

All Orthodox Slavic cultures are good at enduring hardship, it's in their genes at this point
>>
>>64322228
Civilian pain does not particulary matter for state survival when caused by attacking force.
It is the wiping out of the military forces and logistics that would break the defence, but russia does not appear to undestand that one.
>>
>>64322228
Gaza has suffered thousand times worse
>>
>>64322228
Worst case scenario was 30k losses for the coalition. This are estimations from a country that didn't know it's own strength because it was a first time for a lot of tech and doctrines.
With the total control they had on airspace, the coalition would have had also a few more thousands casualties from pilot PTSD after the genocide they would have committed
>>
>>64322374
Explain Serbia then.
>>
Considering the fact that the coalition forces didn't ever need to resort to terror bombing civilians, hardship endurance wasn't ever a factor in Iraq
>>
>>64322431
Contrary to popular belief it wasn't the bombing but the russian cum embargo that ultimately did them in.

about the same

Same, because US bombed government, bases, power plants, bridges, fuel depots.

Russia bombs commie blocks, hospitals, their own units, shopping malls, passenger rail stations and nuclear waste storage. While unpleasant nuisance it only riles the population up to resist and has minimal effect on crippling Ukraines ability to fight back.

IMHO it's deliberate as they still hope to get the entire country. That's why there's still bridges over Dnieper, in Milolaev and else-where over Pivdenij Buh, Luga, Turiya or Stokhid, cutting most Ukraine off west.

If they ever hit a target of strategic importance the Z-bots celebrate it with 10 threads for the next 6 months.
>>
What blew up this time?
>>
>>64322496
The US and coalition were literally terror bombing Serbia into submission since their military did a good job of hiding themselves and ambushing coalition aircraft: https://www.wilsoncenter.org/publication/220-bombing-to-bring-peace
>>
what's wrong with Serbians? I can get russians, they had their empire and want it back, but serbians?
>>
>>64322496
The US also didn't have their ground forces rendered immobile, and could have advanced and seized infrastructure if they needed to.
Precision bombing was the sanitary alternative to a more open and destructive offensive that would have had the same outcome, as opposed to Russia bombing things because they can't do much else now.

If Russia had done something like this at the start of the war, things might have gone if their favour. But it's a psychologically different scenario when ground troops are already in the country and are not demonstrating an ability to over-match on the battlefield.

STFU zigger. We're discussing the inefficient Russian use of their strategic and tactical WEAPONS here.

You had 30 years to invent something better than basic whataboutism demagogy too that just makes Russia look just as bad as most controversial actions by west. But alas you're just as inefficient at strategic communication as you're at war.

>muh remove kebab
They were genociding catholic Croatians as well. Serbias motivations for the war had very little to do with defending Europe from Muslims and it had everything to do with trying to create some sort of greater Serbia (in the early 90s) but by the late 90s it was about trying to retain kosovo as a part of serbia (it should be albania because Serbs dont deserve it)

Serbs are retarded for thinking they can kill their neighbour's without any retribution. Fuck em.

Are those bombs that disrupt the plans of the target? Bombs that force the target to switch over to different plans? Bombs that mind-control the target to perform whatever plans the bombs contain?

The same. The only way it wouldn’t was if the US sold all its fuel, missed 90% more of its air campaign and told its troops it was a training exercise until the last minute.
>>
>>64322228
Both Ukraine and 1991 Iraq put up a very similar fight for the first week, the main difference is that Russia isn't the US, Russia is weak, Russia got pushed back.

Depends. Did Serbia and Iraq have 52 countries supplying them with weapons, ammunition and finances throughout the conflict? Did Russians deliberately target water & sanitation facilities like the good guys did in both Iraq and Yugoslavia? Did they bomb cities with depleted uranium? What's the majority of casualties, military or civilian? You see, there are certain variables you forgot to consider when assuming the so called "endurance".

>US/NATO bombing of Serbia is the ultimate display of Europe wanting to protect brownoids and Islam at all costs.

Always the funniest cope when even kosovars are just as white as ethnic serbs or even whiter when we include like 25% of the serbian population that larp as
ethnic serbs but have the teint of a nigga from Gujarat.
Not to mention that both kosovars and serbs are notorious criminals and troublemakers when emigrating to other countries. So one cant even say its a superior culture or something, same low IQ oriental balkan barbarism.

Iraq did have that much endurance, they were still fighting as best as they could a decade later. The difference is that the US destroyed their entire military in a matter of days, while Ukraine captured as many vehicles from Russia as they had lost in the first few months.

>>
>>64322386
there are very little civilian deaths from the bombardment, they usually go for building, deemed used by the military, power plants, high voltage lines...
but civ casualties are extremely low.
