Had Serbia or Iraq had this much endurance for pain and destruction of their country like Ukraine is. How would the first gulf war and Bosnian/Kosovo war have ended?
>>64322228Considering Ukraine didnt fall after the initial, (attempted) blitz across their territory by the Russians, their situation is mostly incomparable. Iraq, with a motivated force could probably give a lot of hurt to coalition forces, but at the end of the day I wouldnt say casualties rise above 100000 for western (and etc) forces. Their air power was just too much for a country like Iraq to quell the invasion, especially considering AA batteries and similar could be considered one of the most resilient and dangerous foes on the Iraqi side. They were raped in our timeline, and even in the timeline where no Iraqi is born a coward or corrupt fuck it could only slow the inevitable capitulation/surrender of Iraq. Saddam might not survive to lead the country for another ~10 years or so. It is highly questionable whether any kind of reasonable insurgency would arise.Serbia is another case, they were shown the hammer, and it crushed them. No amount of resilience can stop something so strong. Serbia cant reasonably do any better in any scenario, maybe another 117 gets shot down along with a few more aircraft, but thats really it.
>>64322228All Orthodox Slavic cultures are good at enduring hardship, it's in their genes at this point
>>64322228Civilian pain does not particulary matter for state survival when caused by attacking force. It is the wiping out of the military forces and logistics that would break the defence, but russia does not appear to undestand that one.
>>64322228Gaza has suffered thousand times worse
>>64322228Worst case scenario was 30k losses for the coalition. This are estimations from a country that didn't know it's own strength because it was a first time for a lot of tech and doctrines. With the total control they had on airspace, the coalition would have had also a few more thousands casualties from pilot PTSD after the genocide they would have committed
>>64322374Explain Serbia then.
Considering the fact that the coalition forces didn't ever need to resort to terror bombing civilians, hardship endurance wasn't ever a factor in Iraq
>>64322431Contrary to popular belief it wasn't the bombing but the russian cum embargo that ultimately did them in.
>>64322462>depriving them of their primary source of nutrientswar crime
>>64322388maybe hamas should surrender then
>>64322228about the same
Same, because US bombed government, bases, power plants, bridges, fuel depots.Russia bombs commie blocks, hospitals, their own units, shopping malls, passenger rail stations and nuclear waste storage. While unpleasant nuisance it only riles the population up to resist and has minimal effect on crippling Ukraines ability to fight back.IMHO it's deliberate as they still hope to get the entire country. That's why there's still bridges over Dnieper, in Milolaev and else-where over Pivdenij Buh, Luga, Turiya or Stokhid, cutting most Ukraine off west.If they ever hit a target of strategic importance the Z-bots celebrate it with 10 threads for the next 6 months.
What blew up this time?
>>64322496The US and coalition were literally terror bombing Serbia into submission since their military did a good job of hiding themselves and ambushing coalition aircraft: https://www.wilsoncenter.org/publication/220-bombing-to-bring-peace
what's wrong with Serbians? I can get russians, they had their empire and want it back, but serbians?
>>64322496The US also didn't have their ground forces rendered immobile, and could have advanced and seized infrastructure if they needed to.Precision bombing was the sanitary alternative to a more open and destructive offensive that would have had the same outcome, as opposed to Russia bombing things because they can't do much else now.If Russia had done something like this at the start of the war, things might have gone if their favour. But it's a psychologically different scenario when ground troops are already in the country and are not demonstrating an ability to over-match on the battlefield.

>>64322790serbs played stupid games, serbs lost kosovo
>>64322790>a but but. but... STFU zigger. We're discussing the inefficient Russian use of their strategic and tactical WEAPONS here. You had 30 years to invent something better than basic whataboutism demagogy too that just makes Russia look just as bad as most controversial actions by west. But alas you're just as inefficient at strategic communication as you're at war.
>>64322790>it works when americans do it so it'll work when we do it!top 10 anime mistakes
>>64324919>muh Serbs >muh remove kebabThey were genociding catholic Croatians as well. Serbias motivations for the war had very little to do with defending Europe from Muslims and it had everything to do with trying to create some sort of greater Serbia (in the early 90s) but by the late 90s it was about trying to retain kosovo as a part of serbia (it should be albania because Serbs dont deserve it) Serbs are retarded for thinking they can kill their neighbour's without any retribution. Fuck em.
>>64324867>inefficient You wouldn't be crying about it if it was inefficient :) now go back to shitting in the street taras
>>64324972>it should be albania Keep it pushing muzzie
>>64324919God, it must be really sad that the entire founding myth of your people is you shot down one plane of which 60 were built, and then got replaced by planes the US built over a thousand of.
>>64322228But the damage is still minimal, you've seen what Kiev looks like now, ~90% of the housing stock is completely intact and has not been subjected to any carpet bombing or planning bombs
>>64325061>NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!>YOU CANT SHOOT OUR PLANE DOWN>NO WE NEED IT TO SAVE THE MUSLIMS!!!!!!!!
>>64325076>planning bombsAre those bombs that disrupt the plans of the target? Bombs that force the target to switch over to different plans? Bombs that mind-control the target to perform whatever plans the bombs contain?
>>64325045Albania is more Christian then albanian
>>64325146Come again?
>>64325084What a sad life you serbniggers live, lmfao
>>64322228The same. The only way it wouldn’t was if the US sold all its fuel, missed 90% more of its air campaign and told its troops it was a training exercise until the last minute.
>>64322228Both Ukraine and 1991 Iraq put up a very similar fight for the first week, the main difference is that Russia isn't the US, Russia is weak, Russia got pushed back.

>>64325146>>64325164Also Kosovo is much more extreme than Albania.
>>64322431Did Serbia recevie financial, humanitarian and military support from the majority of the Western world?
>>64324919Why are you blaming US who merely responding to your retardation and not Slobodan Schizosevic who was the cause of anything bad happened to Yugo? >haha! Serb stronk! Remove kebab! Remove Ustase!>noooooooo why are you leaving. Yugoslavia must united!!!!None of anything Schizosevic did made sense. At least Seselj was honest.
>>64326734They did and still do, but for some reason believe that Russia and China and their main benefactors.
>>64325991He has pitch black hair and pitch black eyes on top of a weird mutt face. You also cherry picked that when most Serbs look like this
>>64324996>now go back to shitting in the street taras>More than one-fifth of Russian households do not have access to indoor plumbing, according to official statisticsI wonder which is the real %lol, lmao even
>>64322228Endurance has nothing to do with it. Iraq was invaded by a competent enemy and ukraine was invaded by an incompetent enemy. The Ukrainians are not special they are just fighting retards
>>64325164That's land, not people
>>64325127
>>64326836I can agree on the Ustase (Croat) thing, but wanting to remove muslims from your country isn't much of a bad thing>>64326872>dat pic>tells me I'm cherry pickingkek, tell me more about how which Europeans aren't white, meesh
>>64322228Depends. Did Serbia and Iraq have 52 countries supplying them with weapons, ammunition and finances throughout the conflict? Did Russians deliberately target water & sanitation facilities like the good guys did in both Iraq and Yugoslavia? Did they bomb cities with depleted uranium? What's the majority of casualties, military or civilian? You see, there are certain variables you forgot to consider when assuming the so called "endurance".
>>64327332Russians bombed the most strategic target:Random ass fields
>>64324919>US/NATO bombing of Serbia is the ultimate display of Europe wanting to protect brownoids and Islam at all costs.Always the funniest cope when even kosovars are just as white as ethnic serbs or even whiter when we include like 25% of the serbian population that larp as ethnic serbs but have the teint of a nigga from Gujarat. Not to mention that both kosovars and serbs are notorious criminals and troublemakers when emigrating to other countries. So one cant even say its a superior culture or something, same low IQ oriental balkan barbarism.
>>64327318Oh trust me Saarbjeet, I've got plenty
>>64322228Iraq did have that much endurance, they were still fighting as best as they could a decade later. The difference is that the US destroyed their entire military in a matter of days, while Ukraine captured as many vehicles from Russia as they had lost in the first few months.
>>64324996>shittingFocusing on anal matters. This might be an actual Russkie and not just a Zbot or wannabie tankie.
>>64328728Didn't know russians named their power plants after Ukrainian cities, that's kinda weird desu

>>64328756they didn't
>>64322386there are very little civilian deaths from the bombardment, they usually go for building, deemed used by the military, power plants, high voltage lines...but civ casualties are extremely low.
