People will steal the wire from the perimeter fence. You won't be able to see or do shit from a guard tower, it's an utterly idiotic premise for a thread. Also, unless you're directly in the warpath of some roving band of rebels or islamic insurgency, you will never have to 'defend' the place from any kind of armed assault. If you were your guard tower would immediately be getting hit with multiple RPGs and turned into swiss cheese by multiple DShKs and PKMs.OP has very clearly never set foot in Africa
