How hard would it be to denazify them
>>
>>64326264
Welp the nazified part is a strip 20km wide. So all you need is artillery ammo and some political will. Are there any entities nearby having both?
>>
>>64326264
For Russia against Moldova? Impossible. They are literally surrounded either by Ukraine or Moldova/Romania and none will tolerate it. How they will even get supplies in there is also a big mystery and it would be the end of Transnistria either way you look at it.

Not hard, you'd just need to coordinate with the Ukrainians to provide a solid backstop on their side of the border.

What are the actual results of the election? PAS got 55 seats, but who are the other parties, really? PPDA is supposed to be about Romanian/Moldovan unification. Does that mean they're pro-EU? Alternative is for EU integration in their platform, but PAS accused them of being a puppet meant to dilute the pro-Western vote. Are their eight seats backing PAS and the EU or Russia?
>>
>>64326402
Doesn't really matter, PAS is getting more than 50% of the seats, to nobody should be able to block their work.
>>
>>64326395
IIRC their "airforce" consists of a couple An-2, an Mi-8, and an Mi-2. That's it

This joke should be solved asap. No idea why we tolerate this at our doorstep. At least Königsberg has an excuse of being officially recognized Russian territory while this thing hasn't been recognized even by Puccia. It's just a staging ground for Russian shenigans in Europe and everybody knows that. Those ziggers who still live there would be free to relocate thesleves into their promised AIDS ridden land ofc.

>>64326402
PPDA has stated that they oppose spread of Russian influence. Besides their goal of unifocation with Romania implies they are anti zigger.
Rest of the parties are openly or covertly Russian assets. I mean some of them don't even try to deny that.

>Moldova's election concludes with Igor's PAS party once again handily defeating the BEP, led by Igor. Time will tell if recent shifts in Moldovan politics away from Russia will lead to conflict with Transnistria, the secessionist region broken away in the early 90's by Igor.

Romanian from /int/ told me that Romania is playing the long game offering all moldovans with provable moldovan ancestry easy romanian citizenship. This in turn drains Moldova of actual moldovans that go to work in the EU using romanian citizenship.
Doing this leaves only the rabid ziggers in Moldova who were put there by Stalin, its easier to keep track of them like this instead of annexing Moldova and giving them romanian citizenship by default thus getting around 1 million of russians that can destabilize your country
>>
>>64326565
Then why are the Russian parties not pushing for unification? Russia has tried to give Kaliningrad away several times because of the impact its population would have.
>>
>>64326582
I'd assume there's conflicting interests. If you're part of the pro russian moldovan elite you dont really want to lose your leadership position by becoming part of either romania or russia.
From the looks of it though

Had the Snowgerians invaded Moldova instead of Ukraine in 2022, even if Moldova was as equipped and competent as Ukraine, they would have already taken over the country unironically.
>>
>>64326264
I can see this happening after Russia takes Odessa. They are going to link up with Transnistria and invade Moldova. It depends on how long it would a tank to reach their capital, but likely within 24 hours.

Went to Tiraspol for shits and giggles with friends around a year ago. Pretty neatly kept town, but it's literally in the middle of nowhere, only things surrounding it are huge fields and shitty roads. I don't know the details of how it came to be, but I suspect the peace between Moldova and Transistria is very much predicated on how much money Russia keeps sending there.
Great food and nice people tho, I wonder how much of that is by design as propaganda.

Trannynistria has been brain-drained and depopulated of youth hard, particularly these last few years. They have little else other than pensioners at this point. Everybody below the age of 45 is out, or spending every waking hour trying to find a way out.

I wouldn't be surprised if Romania/Moldova aren't just patently waiting for the vatnik chaff to die of old age before "resolving" the issue. Probably won't take but another 15 years or so.

Weev actually lives the life of a fugitive computer hacker from a late 20th-century cyberpunk novel, and they don't have extradition treaties there. I've read that it's actually more like a kind of private oligarchic corporate micro-state run by a corporation called Sheriff which owns everything, and is in turn owned by a Russian oligarch named Viktor Gushan.

First the Chechen's and Wagner mercs need to get past Donbas and Luhansk before they can even begin worrying about Moldova an Transnistria and I don't see that happening any time soon.
There's no land bridge and Russia trying to park their navy in those any of those harbors would effectively make them fish in a bucket levels of easy to kill plus there's the potential of pissing Romania off too.

Honestly the best thing Putin can do for Transnistria is to stop invoking Sstreisand effect, literally no one knew or cared about that little meme rouge state before Russia started making a big deal about it because they think the new president of the poorest country in Europe is gonna chimp out over it as though their already small economy could handle half it's work force sitting in trenches for months/years.

The TL;DR is it originally started off as a Russian psy-op but eventually took a life of it's own.

>abnormality that Trannystria is
I personally think it's a neat little meme state and hope that at the very least they maintain some autonomy so they can continue their little larp. I however do not think Russia should be allowed to annex it back into it's sphere proper just because Putin is nostalgic for the Soviet Union BUT it's not like that's even logistically possible anyway with Ukraine basically being a quasi N.A.T.O. state in everything but name. Isn't their new president more pro Western? Perhaps Uncle Sam give them a handout in the form of military aid, that or some other N.A.T.O. country could/might.
>the problem is: what do we do with it after? It's full of pidors and pidor lovers
I mean, just jail and deport the known threat actors and reassure everyone else that they won't be put in mass graves by Neo Ustase's despite Putin's fear mongering. Sure a few sleeper cells will slip through the cracks but oh well, they can worry about putting those fires out afterwords. It's not the same as Russian backed Luhansk separatists, they'll cause trouble yes but it's not like they have access to tanks, they're effectively on their own and sandwiched between N.A.T.O.

Here's my uninformed take. The pro-EU president is still early in her second term. Moldova's path to EU accession has been enshrined into the Moldovan Constitution. And now, they have a guaranteed pro-EU majority in parliament for the next 4-5 years.
Add in the fact that Moldova has proven that it can weather a winter without Russian gas, is currently building THREE power-lines to connect itself to Romania; Transnistria's days are numbered. Moldova is in a position of leverage that it has NEVER had over Transnistria, and at this moment, Transnistria's only international backer is currently rendered impotent due to the War in Ukraine and the loss of their gas-card.
I predict this winter, some sort of negotiation between Chisinau and Tiraspol to the effect of Transnistria's integration into Moldova.
Also, it would be very cheap from the EU perspective to make sure Moldova comes out on top in a winter energy crisis.

I always found the "your civilization will literally END without gas an propane from 'x' country so don't you ever do anything we disagree with in your own sovereign borders" argument to be a ridiculously one when chimneys wood stoves and wool blankets exist and like half of Moldova's population commutes via horse/donkey carriage or on old bicycles anyway, so Russia threatening them with poverty is like threatening the residence of Gary Indiana with with loud rap music and cheap liquor stores.
They're kinda used to being poor to say the least.

Also doesn't Transnistria still have an active steel factory an some coal mines? I don't think it's entirely the end for them either, yet anyway. I suspect they'll hold out for a bit longer out of stubbornness.

I'm not sure.
I do know that the only major power plant in all of Moldova is a natural gas plant just outside Tiraspol. The hustle used to be something like
>Separatists own the only source of electricity
>Russia sends them free natural gas through Ukraine
>Transnistria then sells electricity and natural gas to Moldova
>Tiraspol holds leverage over Chisinau
Free gas has obviously been ended, and Moldova is diversifying its energy portfolio with the help of Brussels. If Moldova wanted to coerce Tiraspol to the table, they could cut off the electricity and gas during the winter now.
>>

Yea, the power plant seems to be shut down now.
