The only good miltuber btw
>>
Yeah maybe? There arent that many actual miltubers, most people talking about mil shit are just nerds and larpers. Most active duty channels are just faggot e4s vlogging while they whine about uniform regs and fitness standards, so the only real competition chieftain has are some Ukrainian channels and maybe that gruntproof guy.
>>
>>64326427
I really like Preston, as depressing as it is to watch him come to terms with the retard-in-chief being retarded
>>
>>64326427
Drachinifel is a good one for naval stuff. And even if he's not a military channel, Oceanliner Design is also really good. Though his obsession with doing Titanic videos is annoying.

>>64326526
Do you mean Preston Stewart, or another Preston that I haven't found yet? For the former, I feel like he has always been cautious of Trump but willing to give him some Leeway in order to not anger the more Trump-aligned people who watch his videos.
>>
>>64326600
Drach is good, you also have that autistic german guy with luftwaffe stuff, i'll throw in Greg for good measure
>>
>>64326600
yeah, I meant Preston Stewart. He's about as level-headed and genuine as geopolitics channels get.
as far as .mil-adjacent people go, William Spaniel and Perun are also very informative
>>
>>64326600
>cautious of Trump
Why in a mil show is politics even relevant? It should make zero appearance unless it has to do with the story of the episode
>>
>>64326675
>why is the President of the United States relevant to geopolitics??

>half the fuckin cabinet is at the Charlie Kirk memorial
>calls all the generals to a meeting, then invites himself
How many times is he going to gather these large targets together before some rogue nation takes advantage of it? It’s piss poor military strategy.
>>
>>64326675
>Why in a mil show is politics even relevant?
Warfare is objectively a political action
>>
>>64326613
All good.
>>
>>64326675
>Why in a mil show is politics even relevant?
It doesn't. It's just another /pol/nigger stirring shit as always.
>>
>>64326675
Look at Ryan McBeth if you need an avswer to that question.

One day you'll be praising two man tanks and why the Bren is better than the spandau!

Is this guy just eccentric or on the spectrum?
>>
>>64326600
I reckon with OD he's just kind of stuck doing titanic cause that's where the views are
>>
>>64331347
Worse, he's british
>>
>>64331347
Just british
>>
>>64326675
Clausewitz had something to say about that
>>
>>64331347
Not only British, but a dancer too.
>>
>>64331211
He should make a interperative dance performance to Spandau Ballet

Titanic stuff always brings views. From a creator standpoint it's a safe choice and every detail of her short life is examined and compared, but using her as a type of benchmark is also not a bad idea. The Olympic class was a very balanced design using proven methods. Not really anything groundbreaking, just larger.
Using equipment and practices which were deemed totally safe...until they weren't. His recent video about the British Wreck Inquiry connects that to the naval mindset in the UK. To admit that the men & machinery played a role in creating disaster would be admitting the British Government (Royal Navy) had the same vulnerabilities. Something the British did NOT want to do while in the midst of an arms race with Germany and others.

Jesus fucking Christ people find something else to direct your energy towards because this shit is fucking pathetic

We could always talk about the Epstein Files?
>>
>>64331347
Idk. There's an old (deleted?) video of him dancing in a tutorial with some girl whose giving him the most obvious fuck me eyes ever, and 90% of the comments were him whining about they were just friends
>>64331311
this + the retarded question book videos killed his channel
oh and also how he took all that kickstarter money for the graphic novel and then just pretended it never happened for 10 years
>>
>>64331211
>>
>>64331347
being absurdly Bongpatriot is just his brand
and hot takes have a habit of getting you attention
>>

Not A Pound For Air To Ground is another excellent channel.

I've always like Sub Brief.
He's got some really cool videos and does a good job of breaking shit down for the normies. He also has really good breakdowns of ship and sub classes from around the world as well as naval news.
Him and What's Going On With Shipping are my two goto youtube channels for naval happenings.
>>
>>64334353
This guys voice is irritating for constant uptalking
If you want to hear the worst uptalking ever watch IHYLS
I like his subjects but can only manage to listen to him for about 15 seconds
Guy needs a speech therapist
>>
the most gigaautistic miltuber is WW2 US Bombers and I love it
Pure distilled autism its so good
>>
>>64335074
>Sub Brief
Lol
>>
>>64335253
dude I love WW2 bombers, I got introduced through his critiques on masters of the air and I want to be at that level of academia
>>
>>64335253
Fuck yes, just found this autist recently, was suggested a video of his randomly, love his straightforward and informative content, I have learned so much.
>>64326427
He's great, I think I have watched 90% of his videos, love the continual gag of him getting stuck in uncomfortable positions in afvs.
His series on ww2 tank doctrine by country is so damn good.
>>
>>64335253
The way he presents his information is very clear and straightforward. My favorite was the one about Operation Starvation.
>>
>>64326427
Greg isn't *just* a miltuber, given that he's an absolute enginehead, but nobody can out-autist him when it comes to the manifold pressure of WWII warbird engines.
>>
>>64335074
H.I. Sutton is infinitely better than Sub Brief.

>>64326600
>>64326613
Ed Nash's Military Matters is also good for more obscure prototype planes.
>>
>>64333832
Criminally underrated channel. Stan Gerwich, Chris Bartocci (Small Arms Solutions) etc all basically retired from their /k/areers already, so they don't have to make a living vomiting out zoomer-bait garbage that wastes everyone's time.
>>
>>64326427
Paper skies is great for pealing back the layers of soviet culture and coverup on cold war aircraft.
>>
>>64331385
Kek, word for word the response that formed in my head immediately after reading that post.
>>
>>64334127
Did he even crash and burn? It just seems woke up one day and nobody cared who he was or what he was doing.
>>
>>64333948
Yeah, let's talk about how it was a conspiracy theory when Obama and Biden were in office. And now it's the most important thing to disingenuous socialist operatives who think there are gibs coming at the end of their overthrow of the West rainbow.
>>
>>64337304
Kek, you've settled on THAT script now?

The Gastello and Svetlogorsk videos felt kinda forced for me, I feel like he should have put the sources he used in the description (which is something I think every video essayist should do, but that's irrelevant).
Other then that, agreed, it's refreshing to see someone peel off the layers of Soviet mysticism without sounding like a retard or having a completely abrasive sense of humour.
