I demand justice for each and every murdered BIPOC in this land. We must honour their memory by digging up every single mass grave until no skeleton remains hidden.

Who's with me?

Chug day isn't until tomorrow, I plan on celebrating the civilizing of stone age savages by shooting empties.

Reposting my question from the last one, BassPro is selling SKS's for ~580. Cheaper than everywhere else I've looked, but does Bass Pro tend to sell junkers or have any other issues?
Captcha was SKSSP kekw

Read the online reviews and look at the dates. If you see mostly positive reviews left in the past few months you're usually g2g. They get shipments in crates the same as any other retailer, there's really no cherry picking it's just luck of the draw. Last few batches that Cabela's/Basspro got in were quite good, mostly drill rifles and more or less brand new rifles with matching numbers.
>>
>>64329588
Checked. I plan on spending National Day of Truth & Reconciliation by drinking an unholy amount of firewater.
>>
>>64329594
They get the same SKS batches as everyone else, North Sylva or whoever brings them in and then they sell them to the stores.

Canada was built on selling guns to the natives. It was arguably one of the most important aspects of the fur trade. The Hudson's Bay Company probably sold more guns than any other company anywhere at anytime.

Yeah if you are going in person then look at it first. They'll bring it out in a cardboard box, tell them you want to open it and inspect it. Literally no reason for them to say no, you can hold and inspect any other new gun you purchase so surplus should be no different.

slim since they told everyone it's voluntary and they're not even offering FMV for the guns + this government has lied repeatedly for the past 10 years and no one trusts them + it requires people to register their guns and hand them over with no guarantee of receiving even a single penny at the end of it all

it's laughable how gay and poorly thought out this is.

The government cant do shit unless they start sending Municipal, Provincial, and RCMP death squads door by door case by case to collect them, good luck with that. That's why its all "voluntary", doubt the government wants a Ruby Ridge incident every week or maybe they do they are like that.

The government is going to continue to ban guns but that will do nothing to stop gun crime which is the whole "reason", which everyone already knows.

Just don't comply and let the pilot fail and that shows just how useless the government actually is. Stay strong frens.

No, minster admitted to an AR-15 (sig MCX) owner that nothing would actually happen if he didn’t comply.

You paid for your guns with your own hard earned money. Then you paid tax on top of that price and the government took more of your money. You also pay taxes out of your income to the government, and failure to do so will result in them sending men with guns to your home to kill you.

Now they want you to simply hand over your guns that you've paid for and they've taxed, so they can give you back a small amount of your own money they've already extorted from you at gunpoint. They're robbing you multiple times and now you're about to hand over the only thing that would prevent them from robbing, raping, and killing you with absolute impunity?

Sounds like quite the hustle.

Why is everyone just treating this like it's legal in the first place? This isn't an issue of land that needs to be secured for broader public use like building a highway and so they exercise eminent domain. It's just a private lobbyist group who has ties with a politican partisan group trying to steal your property and "pay" you for it with your own money.

It'd be like me demanding you sell me your car because I say so, and I'm only giving you a fraction of its worth regardless of what you want. And also I'll threaten to imprison or kill you if you don't "sell" it to me.

The government never seems to want to follow any laws, their people flagrantly break them and face zero repercussions. Some of you might be apprehensive or nervous about this whole scheme, but I think it's exciting. It's now the second time Canadians can test the mettle of this dictatorship and see how far they're willing to go in their abuse of people. Except this time they can't kettle protesters into a block and then beat them down with 5,000 heavily armed riot cops.
>>
>>64332024

Conservatives will never hold a minority or majority ever again, this is by design. Liberals and PQ will be dictating terms to Canada for the long haul, NDP will always be there to fill the gap and back them up. There's literally no overlap anymore, you don't have anyone switching from those parties to voting Conservative or vise versa. All you have are people floating between voting LPC, NDP, or PQ. It's all just one big party at this point. They're turning it into a British or European parliament where 90% of the parties are the same but they vote split to give the illusion of democracy.
>>
>>64332134
>We'll all be criminals in a year so your handguns are as good as gone.
Yeah that's a bit of a problem for someone that owns both handguns and an AR. if you defy the AR "buyback" you might end up losing your handguns as well which would be impossible to replace.
>>
>>64332182
If you lose your AR it will be impossible to replace. They put a "freeze" on handguns because they were already heavily restricted and exist in small numbers compared to long guns. Make no mistake handguns are on their list of banned shit too, they just haven't released that list yet.
>>
>>64332186

>>
>>64332192
>they make exemptions for handguns
They've only said you can keep them for now. That will change once they've taken your long guns, if you give them up. They want you to have nothing, always remember this. It doesn't stop with "just these ARs". They'll eventually demand your SKS too.
>>64332210
There will be no door kicking. They need you to voluntarily hand them over because they don't want unexpected situations that could result from kicking doors, it would be disastrous for everyone.
>>
They won't kick in your door, they will simply freeze your bank account
>>
Reminder the Long Gun Registry of the late 1990s was the first step towards long gun confiscation. If it weren't for Harper's government scrapping it they would've already tried this gun grab 15 years ago. Now they want you to go online and register your guns under the faint promise of maybe getting some paltry sum in exchange, but in reality that's not going to happen. You'll register your long guns, they'll give you nothing, and then they'll have their long gun registry.
>>
>>64332247
Someone might have an issue with that. And might offer a solution to the government at 2,000+ fps.

If someone is selling a G43 right now it's probably a panic listing since they'll be adding those to their list of forbidden fruit soon enough. Everything will be illegal, they'll come for semi auto shotguns and introduce faggot shit like 2 round magazine caps and start restricting ammo purchases.

Most important thing everyone can do is just keep living their lives and stop patronizing this dictatorship. Remember Yuri warned us about all this in the 90s, he said the process of demoralization would be a long and arduous one that takes decades. This is just part of their strategy.

They're not you fucking retard. Just because they're Named Non-Restricteds doesn't mean they can't be banned. The Swiss Arms rifles were Named Non-Restricteds and still got banned. The AR-15s were Named Restricteds and still got banned. Don't even get started about the fuddlore of "muh natives and treaty" because they're going after the SKS and there's two or three orders of magnitude more in chug use than the Valmets.

Pretty much but not quite as that hysterical claim presents. There's a very clear and predictable path that the Govt is following. The Registry, first they needed to get a list of everything (that was registered). Instituted punishments for not registering. The fact that the Registry, or part of it, was ordered destroyed (yeah, right.. only an in-bred moron would believe that). Reclassification. Then came the gun sales ban. Then came the buy-back.

Do you actually think if no one "voluntarily" complies with the buy back that it will end there? Lol

They have a hard-on for your guns. They won't stop. They can't stop, they can't help themselves.

The entire point of all of this is 0% civilian firearms ownership. Poly has made this abundantly clear for years that they do not want Canadians owning any guns at all. Zero. None. They want only police and military to be armed.

Their tactic is death by 1000 papercuts. Take a bit here, then a bit more, then a bit more. Over and over, year after year, eroding the industry and ruining the subculture by making it arduous or impossible to legally comply with anything.

They haven't told the truth about a single thing ever, nor have the Liberals who are intent on doing their bidding. Why would anyone ever comply with these voluntary gun forfeitures when it's only to their detriment to do so?

>>
>>64333263
Not exactly, it just has to meet the OAL requirement. IIRC pistol barrels have to be +4 inches long but idk if that applies to shotguns or rifles. Can't imagine what shooting from a 4" 12 gauge barrel would be like though. Plus the length of pull would require you to have Gumby arms to hold it.

Only if you want it to remain non-restricted. Mossberg Aftershocks are coming to Canada and they have 14.75" barrels, they're a semi-auto Mossberg 990 with a short barrel and bird's head grip. They'll be restricted since they're semi auto, whereas the Mossberg Shockwave is pump and NR.

because it's a good gun and civilians like it. military uses it which means there's caliber and parts compatibility. governments HATE this fact because they don't want civilians to ever be proficient or having cross-compatible firearms when the military is used against them in an act of force.

there's a reason many euro countries prohibit civilians from owning rifles in military calibers and so they're chambered in oddball shit. they don't want a future enemy being able to use anything they might capture.

Enemies frequently use captured ammunition against their former owners, a practice seen throughout history in conflicts like World War II and the Vietnam War, and it can be a significant advantage, especially when allied logistics are disrupted or both sides use similar weapon calibers. This practice was particularly common during World War II, when the Germans heavily utilized captured ammunition from the Allied forces. During the Vietnam War, American soldiers favored captured AK-47s for their reliability and the tactical advantage of using enemy weapon sounds to confuse identification. Soldiers might also use captured ammunition to replenish their own stocks when supplies run low, as seen with the use of 7.62mm NATO ammunition by both British and Argentine forces during the Falklands War.
Reasons for using captured ammunition:

Logistical support:
Captured ammunition is a valuable resource for resupplying troops, particularly if their own supply lines are cut or they are operating far from friendly forces.
Logistical advantage:
When both sides use the same weapon calibers, captured ammunition can be easily integrated into a soldier's own weapon, such as the 7.62mm NATO used by both the British and Argentinians in the Falklands.
Tactical advantage:
Using captured enemy firearms, such as the AK-47, can provide a tactical advantage by making it harder for the enemy to identify the origin of the fire during a firefight.
Availability:
Captured ammunition can be available for a variety of weapons, especially when the enemy stockpiled large quantities of specific types of ammunition.
Reliability:
Soldiers may also opt for captured weapons due to their reputation for reliability, as in the case of AK-47s compared to the M16 during the Vietnam War

I just use Lucas clp for the whole gun because it smells good and works well. I follow up with their oil because it works in freezing temps. Transmission fluid works well too.

You could use a solvent trap to cut down on the mess it makes pouring it through the barrel. Failing that, get one of those sponge reamers and soak some bore cleaner/solvent into it before running it through the barrel.

the mexican cartels are setting up in canada, so it's not a stretch for them to start trafficking firearms or even setting up clandestine machine shops to make them if it becomes lucrative enough. get ready for a massive increase in gun violence and just violence in general. the cbsa have already been corrupted too.

>to start
They have been for a while now, and the cartels have been operating in Canada for well over a decade. One of Gabriel Wortman's associates was arrested in Edmonton working with MS-13 selling coke in 2017. He was the guy that put all the RCMP stickers on Wortman's fake cop car.

>In a video hearing, the parole board also considered his criminal past. He landed on police radar in Edmonton in 2014 when they were investigating the La Familia gang, which has ties to Mexican drug cartels.

>Police pulled Griffon over and seized 800 grams of cocaine, multiple cellphones, a hard drive and cash. They determined he lived in a warehouse. There, they found an additional $30,000 in cash, four kilograms of cocaine, guns and ammunition.

The DEA brought them that case on a silver platter and they refused to even look at it. The only person that was charged and will ever be charged was some visajeet, Gagandeep Singh.

>>

Problem is you can't buy it at market price because whatever bank or store you buy it at is going to charge you extra plus you'll pay taxes on it so in a couple years when it's raised in price by 200$ in market value you have to consider the 400$ you wasted on taxes and being up charged when you bought it
>>
>>64335052

>or wait 3 years until inflation dies down

you PM stackers are clinically retarded.
>>
>>64335492
I always felt the best way to stack rocks was in liquid coin form to buy shit with in the post-happening.
Now we just need to figure out how many silver pennies is worth a loaf of bread, or how many gold marks is worth a fancy post-happening warlord castle.
>>
>>64335520
If things get to a point where currency is useless, precious metals will also be useless. People will be in such a bad state they'll only be interested in practical goods like bandages, medications, food, fire starting, fuel, tools, etc.

Gold, silver, etc are only useful in a civilized society with rules.
>>
>>64335549
if things get so bad (they won’t) everyone will simply starve to death who doesn’t have years long food cache and some kind of security guarantee you will pay for
>>
Alright, you know, fuck all the other bullshit for a second here; let's say the power goes out. Nothing else, just the power. (((credit cards))) don't work. How many of you have cash to get you through?
>>
>>64335581
People who encourage others to buy gold only say this to serve their own purposes. It dries up the supply and thus keeps the value of gold higher, benefiting those who own it. It's literally an ancient jewish trick.

Spend your money on ammo, guns, survival supplies, and use your off time while things are good to train and practise.

Right here. Cash is king. I love it when I get in line and rapidly move to the front because Interac is down and everyone in front of me is using cards or their stupid phone. I haven't used a debit card to make a purchase since 2008 and a credit card since 2013. I have enough cash on hand to cover 5 months rent and food. Power and landline I pay a year in advance.

Original goldposter here. Why does everyone assume I'm talking about total societal collapse? We get paid in CAD, which is worthless, so I suggested converting it to gold, which holds value. A year from now, you can sell it when you need to buy something, because it doesn't suffer from inflation, like the dollars in your bank account.
