I never was worried about its durability ( i had to be more careful with the cmore but it was fine) but the stand out thing i remember was just how fucking god awful the tint was. Some guys liked them in the desert because it acted like a sun shade almost. I think i was mainly paranoid about having to use it in lighting conditions like dawn or dusk when i wouldnt be using my laser and nods. Going from outside to a dimly lit building with it was also a bit jarring with the tint. Some people had no issues. I dont think we ever aimed down them with nods, we always used the laser to aim then.

I have no idea how this occluded tape over red dot shit is supposed to work. Both of my eyes are open. I shoot with both eyes open, and I've shot this way for over a decade. However, when I put tape over the dot and 'target focus' I just see a taped window. I can't see the target because there's fucking tape there. It's like I have both eyes open, but I can only focus through one eye at a time or something. Is this normal? I just want to be a better shooter.
