They figured out that being cautious is more important than being fast. Only units tasked with hostage rescue need to be fast.
>>64337142Because rushing headlong into a potentially dangerous situation is fucking stupid? Are you retarded? You get a free Sage for being so absolutely fucking idiotic.
every generation just gets weaker and weaker by design
>>64337191>sprinting into a hotspot like a mad retard is strength.>caution and strategy is weakness. You win the biggest "Retard of the thread" award. You and OP both.

>>64337142That's a fast clear and they're only going tbat quickly because they know the layout. Usually it's much slower when you have to figure out how the room feeds. Vast majority of building clearing going on is slow and methodical done by police clearing recently burglarized houses/businesses. There's no reason to go fast unless there's a pressing reason to, so it's done at a walking speed which is the safest. Going faster makes it more dangerous, you're less likely to see a threat lying in wait before he sees (and hears) you, save for situations where you're busting in and moving before they can grab their guns and take positions against you, or hostage situations where speed is necessary. This isn't the movies and it sounds like you have no training.
>>64337142Violence of action was a retarded meme and got a lot of people killed in the mid-2000s. I recall Delta in particular had a 50+% casualty rate around 2005/6, because charging into rooms only works if there's nothing slowing you down and the guy inside doesn't have to to get to his PKM. So now everyone takes it easy.

>>64337370>>64337376Lmao.Op got absolutely shat on in this thread.
this thread is not disappointing me
>>64337142Flooding the room fails when the enemy is already expecting you. The US Marines learned this the hard way in Fallujah.
>>64337376absolutely based
>>64337408What is the point of this training? Does he think he is Rambo? He would die halfway through the course.
>>64337191Context? OPFOR training? What are we lookin' at here?
>>64338368Looks like hostage rescue training.
>>64337142Whoever that is is fucking retarded. I don't care how many levels of secret squirrel they think they achieved. I see three dead men and one lucky dipshit.
>>64337376Kek, never gets old.Pretty sure that guy got some severe bruises and probably a concussion though.
>>64337142They suck. Three men were dead in the second corner. However many secret squirrels they got they need to give them back.
i love cqb threads
As somebody who had to clear boobytraps and had to do cleanup on scenes where some schmuck set one off, those videos of people sprinting into rooms gives me the heeby jeebies

>>64338462Airsofter cargo culting of CQB with all these kids sticking their barrels way past the doorframe before clearing the corner; a couple of guys attempt to clear the corner but even knowing what's waiting for them they are slow instead of shooting as they come up without waiting to ID since they 100% know somebody is there. Though preferred solution when I see this happen in airsoft is to slip a grenade (or if I don't have a live grenade a hill to make the corner camper GTFO) in.

>>64337161>>64337184> nooooo why doesn't it look like john wick??? it has to look like my heckin wholesome keanu pupper doggo movies! AAARRGHHHH FUUUUAAACCCK THIS MAKES ME SO MAD AAAAGGHHH I'M GONNA GO SHOOT A CENTER-RIGHT POLITICAL ACTIVIST AHHHH
>>64337408Is this that faggot Botkin? looks like his skinny ass and he just loves dropping his muzzle for no reason, it's like his calling card
>>64338496Most airsoft sites have rules against blind firing even if you know someone is there.
>>64338706I didn't say blind fire, I said shoot at the exact same moment your gun is looking at the corner. Idly shooting the entire time you are pieing the corner. Thats not blindfiring since you're behind the gun the whole time, simply firing without taking time to ID and recognize a person (since you know they are already there)
>>64337142>rush to breach>rush to deathAlways clear your room before entering it. Slow is safe. Larpers are used to high speed low drag play-pretend in empty kill houses. Real life has dogs, furniture, literal holes on the ground of wooden crack dens, shitty lighting, hysteric women, children, etc. Picture unrelated.t. ex-police investigator

>>64337363One of my good friends was in the Marines from 2001-2016, he said the doctrine changed to "throw in a couple flashbangs, then a couple frags, then peek in and magdump anything still moving" after they realized everyone took huge losses trying to run and gun.
>>64337408Who is this noodly faggot? Some sort of airsofter?

>>64338706Why?
>>64337142>>64339720Yeah I'm not sure how this shit needs to be reiterated every fucking war.Every piece of CQB footage coming from Ukraine consists of two guys with a big bag filled with nothing but grenades magdumping every possible nook and cranny with no tactigay shit involved
>>64340013That's not true, that trench raid where the ginger beard russian guy gets smoked, looks like one of those training CQB videos.
>>64340013the no-frags-allowed CQB footage is from the middle east where every dead civi means another generation of terrorists. its the kind of shit that is expected by civilized militaries operating as a peacekeeping force>>64338496>Airsofter cargo culting of CQBits the way it is because most airsoft fields are 90% children, 5% regulars and 5% tryhards. the tryhards do the same shit every time (long flank then sprint around and shoot everyone in the back) and get high off of pwning the noobs.
>>64340013Every war will involve the military relearning what the Soviets and Axis learned in Stalingrad. Big bag of grenades, grenade into every room, Papasha/MP-40 burst into every corner.
>>64340177I remember reading some book about the battle of Berlin where it said that most of the institutional knowledge for urban fighting the Soviets got in Stalingrad basically got exterminated by the time of the battle so they had to relearn all that shit over again
