any info about its engine? There are very few countries out there that can deliver jet engines for such missiles
>>64338982domestic ukie shit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS400_turbofan_engine
Aerodynamically, isn't this design a bit primitive? It has the fin configuration of a 1945 Ruhrstahl X-4. Longer, shorter fins would increase stability without reducing maneuverability.
>>64339014>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS400_turbofan_engineinteresting, didn't know ukies had such stuff. Still, this would power the smaller missile. They need something bigger than that
>>64339087Not really, the engine just needs to sustain flight of a missile which becomes lighter the further it flies. The original launch happens from a booster.
>>64339087motor sich has more powerful variants of the same engine, as well of fully different engines
>>64338385This is odd for a Ukraine thread. The thread is actually discussing weapons and not devolving into a /pol/dump.
>>64339087>interesting, didn't know ukies had such stuffBruh...
>>64339087>didn't know ukies had such stuff. They did shitloads in the sovjet union
>>64339033>Longer, shorter fins???
>>64339087Ukraine and Belarus were THE technological centers of the USSR. When they broke away, Russia's entire technological knowledge essentially went with them outside of a few areas that were centered around Moscow and St. Perersburg
>>64339087>didn't know ukies had such stuffTop kek, ukies have a full range of domestic jet engines, gas turbine engines, turbo prop engines, turbo shaft engines and other shit.
How long would it take for boeing or L-M or anyone here to make 1000 of these turbofans ship them to ukraine with a ready to assemble missile kit and watch every refinery in russia go boom? don't bother sending tomahawks or anything that's directly associated with US MIC just help them make their own?
