What chance do they stand? It appears that the Turks are going to support the Syrian/HTS offensive to destroy the Kurds as the government has already starting shelling Tishreen Dam.
>>
Man wouldn't that be sick of a big power decided to support those 30+ million separatists?
>>
>>64339094
I don't think Israel or the USA is going to come the Kurds rescue. The US already let Turkey fuck up the Kurds a few years ago and the Israelis aren't going to risk fucking with the Turks after the Qatar fuckup. Everyone but Iran is trying to make nice with the new Syrian government with gibs, so when the mass killing of Kurds eventually comes you will just hear about some condemnations from the EU/US before everyone forgets about it again.
>>
Idk. I dont really support either side because theyre both sand monkeys, but the other side is also communist so that makes them worse so I hope they rape them all to death
>>
>>64339170
They're mainly communist because they needed Soviet support against Western-aligned Turkey in the cold war, it wasn't really a strong ideological commitment although I think some of them have drank the kool-aid when it comes to that in modern times

Turkish nationalist in Berlin typed this

Also Rojava was more influenced by anarchism and municipalist theory. Fuck off retard

>when you help overthrow the Syrian government and now you gotta overthrow the Syrian government
At this point I don't think anybody has an actual end-goal in mind.
>>

Kurds want a decentralized state, they backed out of integration talks somewhat after the government forces massacred the Alawites and Druze recently. Jolani is having a hard time keeping the jihadis from acting on jihadi impulses

Jihadis gonna Jihad!

So essentially, the current leader is a Western-backed moderate (in relative terms) that was selected in order to avoid radical Islamists from taking over after the relatively moderate authoritarian regime was overthrown who relies on radical Islamists for manpower, and he doesn't yet have enough power to actually stop them from doing anything. That decade long civil war and refugee crisis really looks like it was worth it now!
>>
>>64339083
Kurds need to ally with somebody one way or another.

Fuck Turkey though.
Reinstate the Hagia Sophia!
>>
>>64339330
Kurds have legit burned their bridges with a lot of partners especially in Europe. About the only people who think they are any good are those who haven't had the misfortune to deal with their antics.

I think the Kurds and Armenians compete for who can get killed/lose the most

Ahaha silly little brothers, look how mighty rasha can die!
>>
>>64339513
Funnily enough, Kurds massacred a lot of Armenians during the genocide

Unironically Turks told Kurds they'd give them land if they helped

>Jolani is having a hard time keeping the jihadis from acting on jihadi impulses
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Jolani strikes me as someone who finally saw how retarded being a jihadi was (perhaps cause it was happening in his home) and just wanted the killing to fucking stop.
I feel bad for him.
>>
>>64340511
He's a Jihadi in a suit.
>>
>>64340614
my point stands, he seemed like he wanted the BS to stop, at least in his homeland, but unfortunately the people under him are too retarded for him to wrangle.
>>
>>64340625
he realized that if he put on a suit, other governments give him stuff he wants.

>Dude Jolani is literally ISIS
>That's why he allowed CENTCOM to launch airstrikes and raids in his country because he's part of ISIS bro
>>
>>64340511
Jolani wants the killing to continue. He just doesnโ€™t want the world to intervene against him.
>>
>>64340625
Remember the pipelines to replace Puccia oil, and who knows, Jolani eventually managing to pull an ataturk would be beneficial to the west.

Kurds are pretty cool. they don't allah snackbar when their ambushes succeed, they break into applause, which I think is hilarious.
>>
>>64340927
They're not much better though.
Honor killings of family members and spouses that don't drink the kurdish cool aid, suicide attacks with explosive vests on civilians, regular knoife incidents are among the popular export goods of kurds.
You just don't hear a lot of it because there are relatively few kurds in total, and when they attack they usually attack muslims. They're better than isis, but otherwise not much more than an "enemy of my enemy" kinda friend.
>>
>>64339094
Yeah, but who? Your choice is basically Russia or China, because the Kurds are a bunch of commies that hate the US and Turkey. Well, mostly Turkey, but the US due to its relationship with Turkey as well.
People want Kurds to be this heckin wholesome chungus, but it's honestly the Taliban in Afghanistan all over again. They're not wholesome, they're an ethno-nationalist movement with strong ties to Marxism. Does that make them bad? Not really, but they're not exactly on the shortlist of US allies.
>>
>>64340910
Well, now we can say for certain that we have seen zelensky and jolani in the same room
