Besides Malaya, are there any examples of bicycle infantry actually being useful?
>>64339237I recall reading of bicycle infantry used in Ww1... I want to say French...
>>64339237Where is this? I want to find her.
>>64339237>>64339273I also want to find her
>>64339273>>64339281Also I am Indian
>>64339285My condolences.
Explain why this wouldn't be useful.
>>64339778recoil, and the need to position that machine-gun in places where the bike won't fitit's far better to just bring a tripod
>>64339237That bike looks like it only has one gear. Those tires wouldn't handle trail riding either. What a piece of crap.My neighborhood is filled with kids who ride electric bicycles. Literally packs of them roaming the footpaths at 30km/h with nothing but shitty helmets to protect them. Often they double up on them.
>>64339237chat, is this real?
>>64339778Where does the ammo go, anon?WHERE DOES THE AMMO GO?
>>64339778>Explain why this wouldn't be useful.Because he's Italian.
>>64339237Im in love. What a beautiful talented swiss girl.
>>64340537I can do that
One of the SS Kampfgruppes that delayed the British from linking up with the rest of the 1st Airborne division rode bicycles to get there. This was during Market Garden.Also…. See gooks using bikes to great effect to transport equipment on the Ho Chi Minh trail. If you think about it, even a shitty bike can carry at least 200 pounds of equipment. (Without someone riding it)
Dirt bikes are far more effective. The Taliban proved that in spades.
Bicycles would have been quite convenient on paved roads in urban areas, but on gravel roads, tires would likely wear out quickly. Japanese soldiers in Malaya eventually removed their flat tires and tubes before riding.
>>64340537But do you want to find her?
>>64339237>Besides NICHE SITUATION are there any examples of NICHE TACTIC actually being useful?Wow, great question. Lot to think about there
>>64339237I could only imagine a bike being useful in a very destroyed city that is impassable to regular vehicles.
