SCAR beats itself to death with a weird recoil impulse and has issues with the rear of the gun snapping off or being battered. I have a lot of time on the Galil back when I was a child and it's good to go. Never had a single issue with it. Eventually went to ARs and started having issues.

all i have to contribute is that the galil is a big chunky bitch. i never really appreciated how negligible the weight of an AR15 is until I held my galil.also, it may need some serious breaking in. i had a ton of jams early on, I pulled one round out (5.56) after a ftf and the whole neck and bullet were cocked at a 45 degree angle, lol. i love the fuckin thing though
