>post family photos>call out favorites>call out new gunsHard to pick a favorite but it'd probably be the M1 Carbine, really fun gun to shoot.
>>64359042Oh, and the newest is the coach gun, lucky find at a gun show last month for $185. Metal is painted over so I can't make out the manufacturer/model but I like how it looks and it shoots just fine, accurate enough for some clays.
>>64359042>favorite>riflethe arisaka type 38 is probably my favorite. smooth action with little recoil. >pistolFN 509. i just do.>newestA boomer made left handed black powder rifle. it shoots like a dream and insanely accurate. won a BP shoot with it a couple months ago
>>64359061>180 for a coach gunIt's probably a Roach gun but if it ain't I envy you
>>64359079based M&P 15 owner
>>64359079Damn anon you like your long guns, fucking nice. What's the year/make of your M1 carbine? Mine is a 41 national postal meter
>>64360119What do you mean by roach gun? When I say coach gun I just mean a double barrel with a relatively short barrel (18"), not any specific make. It can be a little sticky (like a nugget) to open up after shooting but otherwise works really well
>>64360409I used to have an M&P15, should've kept it. It just works and on the rare chance you need customer service, S&W is surprisingly good about their lifetime warranty in my experience (had to reach out once about a different gun).
>>64361082When I say Roach gun I mean it's probably a replica of a stoger coach gun made in turkey. That's why it's probably so cheap. But if you say it shoots good more power to you man. Honestly I do envy you a little
>>64359079anon if there's ever a zombie apocalypse I'm going over ur house looool!!
>>64359042I also can't help but love the M1 carbine, but I think I'm cursed because each one I get has issues. I recently sold my M1 carbine at a gun show and bought an a 1993 national match M1A which I lazily copy and pasted over the M1 carbine's place. I think my favorite gun is my M16, but that's a close tie with my M4gery. My M1A is at a gunsmith now getting a scope mount and scope installed, but I suspect if its a good shooter it may make its way up to the top. I used to own a loaded M1A, sold it because I was afraid of babying it (dumb) but it was the best rifle I've personally ever shot with. >>64359079Arisakas are lovely rifles. Is that a Type 38 carbine? I used to own one and had a Nambu too. I traded the two for a non import marked PU sniper and a Vz58. Wish i didn't.

No thanks mister glownigger
>>64359079the MAS-36 looks like it has seen some shit got any lore you know about for it?
>>64361799Some very slick rifles here, and I love that inox beretta! Good taste anon.
>>64361105Ah, yeah I wouldn't be surprised either, all the nice double barrels around here go for 500 minimum. Wish I could make out the logo but it's painted over with the rest of the metal, too faded. I don't mind, it's a fun gun.>>64361799Love that M16, the solid stock and triangle handguard are pure sex.>>64362258How's the new bodyguard? I saw one at a gun show recently and it looks a lot nicer than the original that I used to have.
>>64365962I like it. More comfortable to iwb than my 43 and lighter too. It shoots really nicely for such a small gun. Hopefully I will never need to find out if 12 .380 tuis are more effective than 7 9mm.
>>64369522Nice, glad to hear it, the old one was not very good to shoot (heavy trigger and snappy, the classic pocket pistol combo) though it was reliable and convenient. I cc my glock 42 now: >>64359042
>>64361078i want to say its a 1943, I'm gonna have to pull it out later and find out, it's been a while.>>64361799I hope it's not a carbine, since it's among my longest guns. i think only the black powders are bigger.>>64363009kind of. obviously of french origin, I'm guessing it made it's way down to Vietnam to participate with the French army in trying to keep French Indochina alive and well. Failed, and then made it's way into the hads of a vietcong soldier.the wraps around the stock are from TWA, an airline that went out of business in 2001. The man i bought it from was friends with a Vietnam combat vet. Said the guy had picked it up from a guy he killed as a souvenir.I'm willing to believe it because the gun is in rough condition, the dates on the papers add up, and history has seen this story played out a hundred times.i dont think it's in shooting condition so it's my only gun i havent pulled the trigger on.
>>64359061Looks like a fun buy for $185
>>64371348thats a cool story, dont think any of mine have a background as wild as that
>>64373250Yeah, was a real lucky find. I saw it early on at the gun show, walked around to see other double barrels (wasn't why I was there but that's how it turns out sometimes), then caught the seller just as he was about to leave, was putting his backpack on and had the tarp over his stuff (since it was only day 1).
