Hey don't post that as the OP image, im saving up for it and dont want all you dicks to buy them out before i can get it.
>>
>>64361748
lol these come in and out of stock regularly, IMO you're better off buying a Shockwave and modifying it to your own tastes. costs about the same and you're not stuck with silly iron sights that you'll just remove and replace with an RDS anyways
>>
>>64361748
Too late I bought 20 and will be selling them on gunpost for three times the price
>>
>>64361770
inb4 they're prohib'd and government says you get $100 a piece best they can do

*wheeeeezes*
>>
>>64361763
>buying a Shockwave and modifying it
Yeh, that is also a consideration, though, i like that the class 3 has a mod choke, instead of cyl bore, the metal trigger guard/housing, and the stock is kinda neat too, just recently found out it ackshually holds 4 rounds in there, neat.
But you are correct that i would want to ditch the sights for a rds.
(and may even end up ditching the stock too, for some wood)
>>64361770
No stop it! shut up!
>>
>>64361777
Highly concerning digits.
>>
>>64361779
i looked at both and found the speed feed stock was more of a novelty, not super practical for retrieving shells on the outside row. much prefer the velcro shot card stuck to the receiver meta.
metal trigger guard is a bonus, yes.
Shockwaves come with the heavy walled barrel as well, but it's cylinder bore. not sure if the 590a1 has a regular or heavy walled barrel?

honestly not sure why they gave the Shockwaves the heavy walled barrel, other than to use it as a makeshift club when it's empty.
>>
>>64361794
> the speed feed stock was more of a novelty
Yeah the vids ive seen of people using it make it look kinda fiddly.
>heavy walled barrel
I was unable to source a 100% definitive answer to this, but i am under the impression that the shockwave and the class 3 both have an A1 thicness barrel, the only difference being the choke.
>>
>>64361779
Where do you see it's got a modified choke?

Both the moss(((berg))) website and tenda list it as cylinder bore.

https://www.gotenda.com/product/mossberg-590a1-class-iii-14-12-ga-shotgun-3-pump-blk-51689/

https://www.mossberg.com/590a1-class-iii-pump-action-6-shot-51689.html
>>
re the coy wording anon: das a good point and something i didnt think of

i highly doubt the conservatives will put them on a naughty list bc the caf and rcmp has no one else making their firearms, so idk. money is money
>>
>>64361736
can someone explain why mossberg would design the shockwave to have a heavy barrel?
wouldnt it make more sense to give a gun built to be compact and presumably light to have a standard profile barrel...
>>
>>64361808
the 590a1 is a better gun overall right out of the box, but you're paying for that too. if you slap a magpul stock and lighted forend on a shockwave it works out to basically the same amount of money, give or take $100. i liked having a low profile gun with just a bead sight as it doesn't get snagged on stuff when i'm moving it around in the vehicle or the bush. eventually i might put a lil holochink RDS on it, receivers are both drilled and tapped for an optic.
>>
>>64361818
Ive heard quoted multiple times that it was a request by the Navy, because they like their barrel into metal doors and shit.
>>
>>64361825
*like to smash their barrels into (..)
>>
>>64361825
well they should make a standard 590 shockwave version then
>>
>>64361825
>>64361830
>>64361833
metal trigger group, safety switch, and heavy barrel were all requested by military as they abuse their guns. heavy barrel would definitely hold up better to banging off gunwhals and bulkheads. it's a shame they don't offer it in a stainless or marine coated variant. I think TFB TV had a limited run of some VanComp one but it was not for Canada...
>>
>>64361739
Poly is going to add that to their next ban list for sure.

Mossberg's short barrel offerings are pretty varied, they constantly have different models showing up on their site every year or so. There's even some Shockwave now with a heat shield.
>>
>>64361901
Yeah the barrel is probably thick enough lol.
and being able to change chokes would probably be better than being stuck with on.
Maybe i wanna throw a turkey choke on that bitch, or meme it up with a breacher, idk.

how often would you even change a choke on a 14" barrelled shotgun, it's still a defensive gun more than anything.

>Colt Spokeperson and Head of External Relations Eva Svobodova issued a sharp response to the rumors. “Please note that Colt Canada is not and will not be involved in the Canadian Government firearms buyback program from Canadian citizens. Our activities in Canada remain focused on serving military and law enforcement customers.”

So this could very well be a word salad meant to deflect. If firearms are all being turned over to police, and police are then turning them over to CZ/Colt, technically they're focusing on their "law enforcement customers".

If they are actually playing these kinds of games with their wording and public relations, it's going to be 100x worse because now they're seen to be complicit in the gun confiscation AND they're lying to cover it up. That'll create a whole new shitwave for them to deal with beyond just destroying private property stolen from private citizens.

Kind of a shame because I was considering a CZ rifle but not at the moment, or at least until I see undeniable proof they're not involved in this horseshit. Back to good old Ruger once again.

if I find out they're involved in any way, even if they were involved in taking guns from retailers, they're banned for life in my mind.

and there's good reason to believe they are because retailers were saying they had to send their inventory to Colt Canada.

Colion Noir has a short blurb about it:
https://www.mrcolionnoir.com/colt-canada-denies-involvement-in-confiscation-scheme/

>Ammoland News sought clarity on this issue and sent the spokesperson a follow-up email, asking if Colt Canada had agreed to destroy seized weapons and, if so, whether the company had then changed its mind. A response was not immediately received.

>It is unsettling that the Canadian government reportedly shrouded the buyback program in secrecy. According to reports, officials decided not to reveal contracts tied to the controversial effort “in a prominent way.”

>They claimed this restriction was to “ensure vendors do not face reprisals or retaliation.” It will be challenging to keep such collusion secret, and there will undoubtedly be repercussions if these actions are proven.

so they've purposely negated mentioning who they've contracted for their dirty work because they already knew there'd be backlash for any company dumb enough to get involved. just one more lie from this government and one more reason to never trust a word they say.

>Once it becomes mandatory, everyone needs to own a mobile device and use it to ID themselves for everything. gives the govt very convienent acsess to your phone and all your shit if they want it.
I don't see how that would be a thing, you don't have to show ID to do 99.9% of things right now.
>>
>>64362611
what does tpm do again
>>
>>64362629
UK age-restriction is an end-goal of digital ID without being a true digital ID because it's technically not linked to other stuff. Real digital ID is where you have a single central repository of all government-related information (everything from student loans to healthcare data) which they can then make mandatory for other things like age-restricted content, electronic purchases, etc.
>>
>>64362638
>you don't have to show ID to do 99.9% of things right now.
True, but you do if you are trying to get a job, set up a bank account, get a new place to live etc, all that shit will be linked to your phone and it gives the govt absolute power to cut you off from life if they deem you to be a bad guy.

China has had this shit going for year now and you need to use you phone to id yourself to even catch a train or bus.
>>
>>64362638

I don't comply with draconian government shit, you shouldn't either. Not sure why there's such a doompilled mentality among some cangenners.
If you live a normal life that isn't pod-based and dependent on government gibs it's actually pretty hard for them to fuck with you. If you have guns it's even harder and they know this which is why they want to take them.

This is why they want to price everyone out of rural properties and keep them in the hands of corporations btw, since any citycuck is inherent subservient
Bailouts are used to enslave you

Neat. when have they ever ackshually had to deal with drone tho?
Theyre probably just shooting skeet and consider that adequate drone training/testing.

Too white and too male.
How do we fix this?

Correct. They want 15 minute cities so they lock you down in short order and heavily restrict your life.
I encourage everyone to get away from big cities as fast as you can, they're getting 1,000 worse and they'll suck you in like a vortex if you hang around too long.

Didn't this whole digital ID bullshit start a straight up revolution in Indonesia or Malaysia or some other random SEA country where the new president was decided through a fucking discord poll?
>>

From what I’ve seen they just skeet shoot to train for drones for now.

I cannot afford these 10c per min long-distance firearms related calls to my mother to talk about my guns, anymore.

That was Nepal and that was more government corruption and gen z poverty iirc
Malaysia was a military coup followed by the gen z revolution for non-digital ID reasons

It’s actually very easy for them to fuck with you. They can literally decide hey here’s a new rule you need to follow and here’s a rat line for people to tell on you.
And people will

No it’s been a thing they have been pushing for a while. Part of the reason for the major AI push is the make people not believe anything and want an ID to validate everything. Imagine an AI access your bank account how do you fix it sign up for the new ID
