where is the gun
>>
>>64364969
Probably pretty well. Needing potentially dozens of drones to take it out devalues the Ukrainian drone advantage and prioritizes the need for traditional anti-tank solutions.
Dronecucks btfo, basically.
>>
>>64364969
ok so it pushes through, then what?

That's the rear of the tank. So the shooty bit is on the other side.

You win a defensive war by making occupation unprofitable, and Russia is bleeding profusely from every orifice just to keep up this snail tier pace.
>>
>>64365081
If Russia can't reach its strategic objectives and take over Ukraine, it will lose the war, yes.
Just like how Vietnam is thought of as an American loss, because they went in there and couldn't achieve their objectives.

>as long as they can win this one
And how do they win this one? Through what mechanism do they eke out a victory, when the frontlines have been practically stuck for years now? The only large movements we've seen have been by the Ukrainians, against the Russians. When's the last time the Russians managed a maneuver like the Kharkov or Kherson counteroffensives?
I can not see a way for Russia to win. Only a frozen conflict seems realistic and likely to me, but that could and would open up NATO / EU forces to be deployed into Ukraine to maintain status quo.
>>
>>64365114
Donbabwe and Luganda have been depopulated from males. Their deaths aren't counted in the official Russian statistics.
>>
>>64365102
Russia already had 150 million people this was never about population
it was about ending democracy in Ukraine and in that effort Russia has decisively failed no matter what at this point

Unironically yes. Why is this so hard for people to understand? What do you think it would cost to spend 5 more years in Ukraine? 10 more years? 15 years?

Do thirdies really value their lives so little they don't care about losing 5 years worth of men to maybe get to Kyiv?

The population of the annexed areas has a higher population because it includes everyone from ages 0 to 100, men and women. Those aren't the people that fight wars, that's your productive young male demographic that's been utterly shredded by this conflict, the Russians even admitted it.
Russia taking a over a million casualties and not even control of both Oblasts since 2014 is a joke.

Based flips wrecking Daesh. It’s a funny story how the battle of Marawi occurred btw, a local radical Islamist commander who had pledged allegiance to IS was visiting while being tracked by the Phillipine gov, but when they moved in to arrest him it turns out that the purpose of his visiting Marawi was to sign an alliance with the local Islamists (who basically were a local mafia extorting locals), and so when the feds came to get him they found him literally backed up by a small army of shooters. This actually ended up being favorable for the gov though, because they rekt the Islamists and were able to clean them up in one place rather than having to dick around with a prolonged insurgency.

I don't disagree with you but a thing that doesn't get mentioned enough is the additional man-hours and material it takes to make these behemoths, and the additional fuel they'll guzzle.

The countermeasure is interesting its an extra subroutine in the arming code that sets off shaped charge the moment everything starts to get thrown out of alignment (because a rotor touched a wire). At the risk of other things now could push the drone off alignment and premature ejaculate it. Like wind or voltage drops.
>>
>>64364969
Have they stuck the anti-drone wires onto the ERA blocks they've covered the things in?
That seems a little bit counter productive, as it just leaves a bigger gap for the next drone to follow through on.

Also, do we have an image of the front?
I want to see how they actually get in and out of this thing.
>>
>>64364998
What these guys are worried about it limpet mines so it's probably not a bad idea. Compared to other haji armour it probably doesn't weigh much.

Also probably injures a bunch of GIs but hey, being mechanised has perks
