I always feel like it's either digging into my body sitting down or like it's gonna grow wings and fly out of my pants if I move the wrong way. Right now for work I fill vending machines so lots of moving around, twisting turning bending and all. I also feel like unless I'm wearing something super tight it's just not doable, gun will move around too much. Any of you guys used to be retarded and not know how to carry well? I'm also in the market for a new CCW gun so any tips there would be appreciated. I love the ol steel compact CZs. Not the best carry gun though im sure.
>>64370244Pocket carry and pants with zipping pockets.Angled belt clip and aligning it with the 'Adonis Belt' v-taper, even cross-draw on the weaker sideNub thing which goes on the torso facing side of the holster to angle it into you, even when you bend over.Shoulder holster and just stick it under the shirt.
>>64370244man upsimple as thatyes youll be uncomfortable for a bit, but youll get used to itas long as youre not literally bleeding from carrying youll be fine
>>64370344>I dragged my balls over broken glass without once questioning if there was a better way to do it, so now I'm going to call you a pussy if you ask whether its really necessary to drag your balls over broken glass.
>>64370244Get a real holster and a real belt. Possibly buy pants 1 size up.
>>64370244Buy a smaller pistol and pocket carry, friend. Bodyguard 380 or LCP is the way to go.

>>64370373>real beltThis.Fuck the walmart / regular belts.Get a double-thick gun belt. Leather, not tacti-cool nylon.Years ago I bought 3 double-thick horsehide gun belts from International Handgun Leather in the Phoenix area.>best investment I ever made>still using the belts>sad to see that it looks like IHL is out of business>I visited their facility years ago>"sorry, we don't sell to public">I was in Phoenix for the Small Arms Review gun show>flashed a business card, talked shop>got a tour of the facility>many of their sewing machines were cast iron beasts made before and during the 1st World War>"they work and don't break, the stuff today breaks too often">"if I pay cash, can I buy a belt?">"I was gonna give you one, but yeah, cash is good"Should have bought 10.
>>64370244Single stack subcompact pocket carry.
>>64370244Use an enigma rig
>>64370244Pocket carry, tucking shirt into pants with a jacket on, i wont suggest losing weight because i know thats not an option for (You)
>>64370244Shoulder holster, fanny pack, pocket carry, dude, the options are everywhere
>>64370244I switched to an airweight with an appendix iwb kydex holster and a blue alpha belt. It's an extremely comfortable way to carry. I tried to carry my 92fs for a while and gave up, it was just too uncomfortable.
>>64370244Have you tried a shoulder holster?
>hammer bitekek, you're holding it wrong ,fatty!
Don't be a fat fuck.
>>64370361You sound like a bitch made pussy.
>>64371659I had a 92fs. It's such a cool pistol but I sold it because I'd never carry it (not an open carry dork).
>>64370244Paul Harrell pants. There's a reason he used Duluth cargo pants. You can fit a Glock 19 in the cargo pocket. Just about everything else from Duluth is shit tho. Yes it's not a Glock 19, but it's the same size. You probably want a safety and or da/sa if you do this. You don't really need a holster then. I've tried it with a sticky holster and it's awkward. Also put shit in the pockets over the pockets so it doesn't print.

>>64373478You sound like a faggot
>>64373478part of being a man is understanding gear and how to wear it comfortably so you can be useful for many hours many days for many years. grow up.
Step one is having a place on your body that can hide a gun comfortably. If you have to cinch your belt tight to pull the gun under your shirt's drape, it's not going to be comfortable. For men trying to carry up front, this often means training your chest, core stability, and not being obese. If carrying up front cannot work for you, perhaps carrying right behind the crest of your pelvis can.Step two is finding a gun that fits in the places that can hide one. If you're small, you'll need a small gun.Step three is finding a holster that will angle the grip into you when carried in the position of choice. If you have an overhang in your shirt's drape rather than a slope, a closed cell soft foam wedge works well. Some holsters have bumps near the muzzle for this as well, but if you're pulling the belt tight on a holster like that, it's going to hurt.
Get a good pistol belt, then just get used to the sensation of a gun on you.
>>64370244A vertical shoulder rig sounds like an excellent bet for you. Get a good one (Galco or something like that), and practice your draws. It’s THE most comfortable way to carry, short of pocket carrying a J-frame.
>>64370244J-frame in front right pocket of and1 basketball shorts is my go to
>>64374905You're the one bitching and moaning about how uncomfy it is to wear a holster. Buck up you fucking dweeb
>carries an all-metal gun>complains its not fun to carryhmm
>>64374910Fat cope. Sorry you're upset.
>>64370244J Frame innapocket, or OWB 3 o'clock under a cover shirt. Anything else sucks if you're doing physical work.
>>64377703>OWB>CC
>>64378008>Under a cover shirt
>>64378008I'm unironically considering a leather owb pancake setup for the winter. I'm tired of pretending kydex is in anyway comfortable to carry pressed directly up against the body, especially iwb/aiwb.
>>64370244fucking mind blown I have not seen a Hunter Constantine belt reco ITT. Widely considered to be the most comfortable because of the stretch design everywhere but the rigid front section. He shoots USPSA IWB out of his own belt design and tears shit up.I have a shitass Kore rigid belt that is just not comfortable. None of them are comfortable from any company. Just get the HC or Tenicor x HC belt. Worth every penny.
>>64377597OP asked for carry options for a job that required a lot of movement, carrying an all steel compact 9mm in the appendix position is probably not the best option for him, but rather than give him useful advice like this anon>>64377703 you're just calling people pussies and telling them to man up. You sound like a massive faggot
>>64370244Lose weight.
How do you train to fire at 300 yards? Is there a dedicated type of range for that, or do you just set up in a clearing somewhere?
>>64379123I sound like the faggot as you white knight some fatshart? Lmao. Lol. Kekaroo
>>64370745.380 seems really underrated to me, does it just have a stigma for being meant for women guns? When it comes down to most defense situations I really wonder what you're actually missing between 9mm and .380
>>64370244If you want to be comfortable get a bodyguard 2.0, you can also find it under $400 out the door brand new got mine for $380 at the local shop (haha very funny gunshop owner)It's 380 but small and light and can still hold 10 or 12+1, I carry it literally 24/7 except when I'm asleep. Even in pajama pants that aren't tied. Get a good holster, I have the vedder light tuck and it works great. Wear a leather belt. I like to carry with it around the 5:30 position above my right ass cheek, it's more comfortable and easier to access in the car like that imo. CZ 75 compact is actually my favorite gun to shoot but if your main goal is comfort so you can carry 24/7 you aren't going to want a steel gun. Still buy one when you have the money though it's an awesome gun
>>64380003I feel like it's gotten more popular in recent years, it definitely had that stigma in the past but I think companies have made 380s good enough in recent years the stigma has mostly dropped off.I was at a family reunion lately and was shocked to find out myself, my Dad, and my Uncle have all separately switched to carrying 380. Dad did 20 in the Marines and only ever carried a .45 1911 even though it was ridiculously large he got the sig p238 1911 clone. Uncle also swapped from 9mm to 380.
>>64380102Which do you recommend for pocket carry? Are you the bodyguard anon I replied to originally?
Stop the AIWB bullshit, it works if you stand out walk, but it's uncomfortable to sit and run.>ol steel compact CZsNope, minmax a gun you can carry IWB strong side, it's the comfiest position after purse, pocket, and shoulder. Good luck.
>>64370361NTA but there is no comfortable way of carrying. You just have to get used to it and work around it when you need to, you fucking turbo pussy nigger
>>64379243>How do you train to fire at 300 yards?at a 300 yard range, avvi
>>64380123I'm not, but I do carry a bodyguard. Bodyguard 2.0 though not the bodyguard 380
>>64380123>>64380140Sorry forgot to answer the pocket carry part. It's the only 380 I own so I don't want to give you a recommendation. I love the 2.0 it replaced my 9mm as my daily carry but I don't pocket carry unless I'm checking the mail or something like that and I've never tried other 380s pocket carry
>>64380139Way easier to find a 300 yard range than a range that lets you actually practice real life defensive fire. There isn't a single range within a day of driving of me that allows more than 1 shot per second. Yes, let me just ask the guy trying to kill me to please stand still while I slowly shoot at him because I was never able to train for faster shooting accurately.
>>64370244Buying a good belt has improved my comfort tremendously. I use a groove belt, has a little stretch so you don't have to keep adjusting for when you are and aren't carrying iwb. Nice and sturdy, doesn't slide or roll or anything. If that's not your thing, they also make reinforced belts specifically for ccw, look into one of those. You also want to try different holsters and positions. I personally hate appendix carry and don't like 6 o'clock. I carry somewhere around 4 o'clock and iwb. If you've got a bigger gun may want to consider owb and sacrifice a bit of concealment. There's no one answer anyone can give you, it's highly personalized and you gotta figure it out for yourself
>>64378881Probably because it's usually completely unnecessary. I never needed a carry belt, so I never needed a $120 stretchy carry belt. I've been using belts like this regularly while carrying for, well, as long as I've been carrying. Mostly with a G19 or a PPQ in a hybrid holster at 4:00, but lately with a Hellcat or a CSX-E AIWB or 4:00. I think a shitty top heavy holster setup or a gun that makes almost any rig super top heavy like a double stack metal framed pistol is what pushes people toward getting stiff carry belts, because the gun wants to tip out so much. I've never had a single issue with that even with these cost effective webbing style belts. I have a wedge made out of a shoe insole on one holster and that's it, nothing special.
>>64380998Fancy carry belts are a thing I don't understand. What are they supposed to do for you? Do people wear their belts really loose so the holster can somehow flop around? I've been carrying either a G19 or a subcompact (G43x or M&P shield) in AIWB or IWB at 4:00 for over a decade and have never had any belt issues at all. I normally wear a relatively thick leather belt, but don't notice any difference with a web belt or a thin leather dress belt. The holster never tips or moves, and I can't imagine what a stiffer belt would do except make everything less comfortable.
>>64381060Well, like I said, overly heavy or overly top heavy setups will tip out at the waist and non hybrid holsters tend to pull your waistband down when heavily loaded, so people often need stiff carry belts with that kind of thing. The other issue is draw, if your retention is really tight, can pull the waistband up and slow you down. A reasonable carry gun that isn't too heavy and properly adjusted retention makes it a non-issue, and wedges really help with the tip-out.A lot of guys on here seem to either insist on full size carry or pretend to insist on it, so for these folks a stiff carry belt is more likely needed to make up for the inherent drawbacks of carrying that oh so cool full size metal pistol instead of boring tupperware striker guns like my G19 and PPQ.
