In the market for a 2011 I was testing some of those handguns but realized it's a money pit so big is not worth, then I tried a beretta 92fs, the quality is amazing and felt great despite being heavier, what are the cons of that gun because I'm considering getting one.
>>
no you aren't, no you didn't, stop making disingenuous OPs to talk about the thing you want to talk about.

It’s a gun. It’s good. Aftermarket can make it way better.

I’m not a big fan of the frame lever models since the frame lever location is based off the hammer pin location. It’s not in an ergonomic spot in my opinion. The slide safety, or better yet, slide decocker (decocker only, G model) is the best option. I don’t like how the frame lever gets in the way of my high thumb grip. I might have to revisit the frame levers but I sold my 92X Performance after a few weeks.

A lot of stuff coming out of Gallatin is having QC issues. For 600 USD it's not exactly a cheap gamble.
Beretta CS is notoriously caca. I say risk it if you find a good deal or a good return policy.
Some of the components are plastic and the oversized thumb rest safety can make racking the slide a bit of a pain.
If you're in the market for a soft shooter you can run at competition just accept reality and go CZ-75 variant like the majority of people.

slide decocker really is the best of all worlds
>>
>>64406801
they make single action only 92 now

So without your meds you think everyone is a shill for big companies, gotcha.
>>
>>64406859

I love my beretta. In my opinion, they have some of the nicest factory triggers and smoothest actions of mass produced handguns.
>>
>>64406977
Barreta should hire a better shill. You suck at distracting.
>>
>>64406823
It's just our daily/weekly Beretta shill engagement thread.

Didn’t try it but it’s the same lever location as the SAO version. I think it’s a lower profile lever so it might be the way but I LIKE the slide lever

And the 92-Xi is a spoof on 92-eleven for their 1911 cocked and locked model to compete with 2011s in the sub 1k price point. I’ve seen 92-Xis at 600 bucks.

Beretta is the oldest continuously operating gun company, owned by the same family. While it’s a huge global corporation it’s still headed by the Beretta dynasty.

Also beretta USA seems to be going all in on frame levers, I’m hardline slide lever but give the frame levers a try.

Anyone have experience with the Girsan MC 14T?
It's the Turkish clone of the Beretta 86/80X with a tip up barrel
Recently the pistol was added to California's retarded handgun roster.
At the moment I'm pretty bored of polymer strikers so I have been shooting a lot of hammer guns
and the idea of a Glock 19 sized metal hammer fired .380 pistol is giving me the buying itch
>>
>>64407110
Well do you wanna tell where or are you gonna continue acting autistic
>>
>>64406801
Beretta are great, but make sure. You're willing to use her and try one first to make sure you're not one of the one weird % that gets slide but by her. Never gonna forget a gun shooting mine and watching her slice his hanst
>>
>>64406801
The locking wedge is a wear item. Otherwise, it's one of the most pleasant 9mm guns to shoot.
>>
I had a 92XI. Not the same model as OP posts but the base model. I liked it. It had a good trigger, looked cool, etc. I only sold it because I needed some money and I retained my classic M9

>Arquebus barrels
Ironically the only good guns they make now are shotguns, everything else is worse than their competitors

I agree. I have two. But this same stupid shill thread is still always shitting up the catalog.
>>
>>64407902
I'm always a little hesitant about girsan stuff. It seems in the same boat as tanfoglio or whatever where it's just copies of other guns, sometimes dressed up, but somehow cheaper. Which suggests to me they're cheating out and cutting corners somewhere.
