They may not have info from countries like France because they would rather keep its capabilities secret. Unfortunately this will lead to a poor perception of their militaries and poor recruitment rates.

Russia and China tend to score high on IQ tests because these studies are often conducted in urban areas. In Russia, only a few major cities are typically included, and in China, the government may influence which data gets published. This can lead to inflated scores that don’t fully represent the national average.

There’s another metric called the Intellectual Competitiveness Index (ICI), which evaluates how effectively a country converts its cognitive potential into education, innovation, and economic output. While Russia and China have high IQ scores, their ICI ratings are more modest.

Think of IQ as the horsepower of an engine, and ICI as the quality of the engine’s design, maintenance, and transmission. High horsepower doesn’t guarantee performance if the rest of the system isn’t optimized.

They've both got a long and well established culture of systematic lying to save face, and lying to make themselves look better than they really are.
>>
>>64412408
It is also because in the West the tests are done in rural areas, not just urban, lowering the average. If this was also done in Russia and China they would be at the bottom of the list.

I'm so sick of reading crap posted by retards from the third world and BRICS on this fucking site about how they are not irrelevent braggart failed civilisations buyt le mighty m ilitary parade power. Its got beyond tedious. The main thing the Chinese and Indian states share is a history of military inepitude and a pattern of ridiculous adulation of dictators in Moscow that appeal to their inability to have any morality.

I personally always believe statistsics compiled by the chinese communist party especially the ones about record harvests while they had famines or how super clever they are. Really makes you think about the scrutiny provided by multi party contested elections, freedom of expression, critical press and how they produce more valaid data and better weapons systems. Chinks and poos are what they are, a reminder of how civilisation exists only in the northern hemisphere and the threat to mankinds future the global south gibbering idiot plague represents.

>In 1973 Mao initiated a new 5 year plan, the "Three trees - five peoples policy" (Chinese: 三棵树五族政策; Pinyin: Sān kē shù wǔ zú zhèngcè) which sought to standardize the environmental landscape of the entire nation so that each of the five major ethnic groups of China could feel a common sense of identity and appreciation of nature. The trees were selected for their history, aesthetics and the personal tastes of the Chinese leadership. The three trees chosen were:

>1: The China Fir (Chinese:杉木, Pinyin: Shānmù)
2: The Plum Blossom (Chinese: 李子树, Pinyin: Lǐzǐ shù)
3: The Dawn Redwood tree (Chinese: 水杉, Pinyin: Shuǐshān)

>These three trees together were called the "peoples trees" (Chinese:人的树, Pinyin: Rén de shù). A fourth tree was proposed by Wuhan party secretary Kang Di-Lung, the Katsura Tree. Initially party leadership was in agreeance with it however the tree of Japanese origin was considered a symbol of Japanese and capitalist imperialism by Mao. Di-Lung was imprisoned and subjected to public criticism by members of the Red Guard. He was then sentenced to 3 years of hard labor planting trees in the deserts of inner Monglia for anti-Chinese arborism.

>The government rapidly began to employ peoples work brigades to uproot and burn old growth forests of other types of trees for replacement by the three "people's trees". By 1973 nineteen thousand acres of old growth forest in China had been burned or felled to make way for the new forests of the peoples trees.

>Student unions and the Red Guard were tasked with finding and burning depictions of other trees. Literature such as "Marxist-Leninist approach to forestry" and "Mao's fifteen essays on socialist arborist thought" became mandated reading in all educational centers in China. Books that extolled the values of trees other than the "people's trees" were destroyed. Especially hated were Bonsai, seen as icons of Imperial Japan.

>The newly cleared areas were named "people's forests" in December of 1973. People's Liberation Army work brigades begin the arduous process of replanting these woodlands with the new "people's trees". Problems begin to arise by summer of 1974. Due to mass burning of forests, ecosystems begin to see rapid changes. Small scale desertification begin in areas that had previously been lush and green. Seeds from the people's trees were often not native to the regions they were being planted in and failed to take, yet they absorbed much of the nutrient resources before failing. The government begin to direct increasingly great amounts of water and fertilizer to the "people's forests" yet few thrived. Soon farming communities on the periphery of the peoples forests begin to see desertification. Crop yields begin to dwindle dramatically. Farmers requesting water and fertilizer be directed towards them were termed class traitors and punished by the Red Guard.

>Soon outright famine begin to spread from towns adjacent to the forests to entire counties as mass desertification took hold. Mao Zedong claimed that crops and land had been poisoned by foreign powers or that deep set layers of poison had been laid under crop lands by the Japanese Imperial army. Because of this, many became afraid to eat food grown in areas that the Japanese had formerly occupied, even in areas where crops were not being affected to desertification. The United States and Soviet Union both offered food aid, yet the Chinese government turned it down stating that there was no problem.
>>
>>64412718
Wait, let me guess. The chinks put all this time and effort into these forests to the point of causing famines and desertification. I bet the next step is a massive blight due to the monoculture, yes?
>>
>>64412557
>especially the ones about record harvests while they had famines
That actually isn't as outlandish as it sounds, the Soviets had better harvests compared to the Russian Empire (but due to modernizing their farming methods, not collectivization).
Their famines were generally more due to their absolute dogshit logistics and organization, not failed harvests.
>>
>>64412796
> Their famines were generally more due to their absolute dogshit logistics and organization
Don’t forget the farmers lying about their harvests and the government taking their percentage of the inflated number.

>the "Three trees - five peoples policy"
I know different countries/cultures have different conventions. I know that translations often sound clunky or awkward to non-native speakers. I'm sure we've do similar things ourselves. But that doesn't change the fact that I find everything about China and Chinese history irritating and tedious and one of the worst parts is the use of numbers in slogans and terminology (the "Four Olds", the "Hundred Flowers Campaign"). It's twice as bad when they use pairs of numbers (the "Two Bombs, One Satellite" programs). It's ten times worse when the nouns are synonymous ("the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors"). As far as I'm concerned, Chinese culture sucks three dicks and seven cocks

>P.S. every Chinese historical figure has like twelve different names over the course of their life (and death). Birth names, milk names, student names, courtesy names, art names, revolutionary names, era names, regnal names, temple names, posthumous names, to saying nothing of epithets, nicknames, nom de guerres, and descriptive titles. Fuck you, I'm not going to waste my time learning any of those and I'm making a jerkoff motion whenever I come across names like "Supremely Mysterious and Primordial Emperor".

Russia is indeed modest (Rank 36, Score 54.31), but China is still extremely high (Rank 2 and Score 77.86), according to the 2024 Intellectual Capital Ranking:
